I hope you're not trolling cause we've seen in the past year and a half that he hasn't been anything close too a monster. Actually i haven't seen him being a monster like ever - he may seem like one physically but mentally he's so fragile.

He’s too worried about about proving people wrong. That shit will get to him 10x more here than in England.

Icardi can cope with criticism and doesn’t care what people think.
That’s one thing that separates lukaku from getting there to be world
Class.

I like that part of Icardi though, a good player doesnt need to prove anything to anyone. Performs 100% under pressure.

What separates Icardi from being a world class footballer is the fact that he is actually an idiot off the pitch and has an annoying wife that he couldnt handle, and it affects him on the pitch.

I meant lukaku....not Icardi. His flaw is Wanda for sure. Has destroyed his inter carrier and national team too.

That's one of the reasons he actually made it so far in football. He used his physical appearance to his advantange in the lower ranks and now its all caught up to him. His technical level is so, so bad at times you have to wonder what the feck he was doing.

Unfortunately for Icardi, he does not even seem to care what his own employer thinks which is part of the reason he is where he is today.

There is a distinct difference between not caring about what people think and not caring about people that are in positions of power that have the ability to determine his playing future.

If you got the time, this is an interesting podcast where Lukaku talks about his life so far. I guess this was just before the transfer, but he does talk about his situation at Man Utd near the end (after the 1 hour mark).

He comes across as an uncomplicated, bright guy with his heart in the right place. No ego, almost the opposite of Icardi. I like Lukaku a lot more after watching this - rooting for him to become a success at Inter. Worth a watch.

Wrong thread? Nope.

Sorry to be a party pooper, but I cannot get excited about this transfer. Limited impact up front apart from a couple of sprints against one defender, lost the ball a lot, managed to score because their right back forgot how to offside trap and seemed quite off in general, nervous and made too many easy mistakes. I know he's not ready, but it's not a readiness issue but more of a quality one that's the issue here. At least he's a smart player who can improve tactically and hopefully he manages to help us reach our target this season. But he's no record breaking transfer.
