Grande. That demented manager of Juve will really know how to use Lukaku, after screwing up Vlahovic. Moreover, it's just a ploy by the criminals to up the price of Lukaku to put Inter in future financial stress.
We should counter that with 5m+35m bonuses based on winning the Scudetto and CL. 10m for winning the scudetto and 25m for winning the CL.

Let Lukaku wreak havoc at Chelsea till end of August and then they will be begging Inter to take him on a dry loan.

That's a shitty way to ruin our pre-season. We better forget about him altogether and focus on other options.

I say prolong this as much as possible, make them go as low as possible.

Inter have Thuram now, he can use the space and time on the pitch with Lautaro. And Lukaku knows the club and the squad inside and out, he'll hit the road running when Chelsea eventually caves, again.

Would you pay 40-45m to get him in right now?
If its 40-45mil to have him right now, or 35-40 in two months time, I'd pay right now. Proper pre-season, with the first team playing ball rather than training alone, we can put him on our own diet plan and training plan as well and micromanage his weight and fitness ahead of the season is our best chance to get the best out of him

See, the numbers are changing already. Conversation started with 30m. That's not gonna be enough in any case.

I would never spend 40-45m straight up to Lukaku. That is fucking insane for 30-year-old player. I'd rather take a risk with someone else for the Scudetto.

I don't know what the numbers are, but my point is for 5 mil missing out preseason and 2 months of inter controlled diet etc is insane

For 40mln, I would bet on a French dude from Arsenal. His salary will be twice smaller at least, and he will have some release value.

Folarin Balogun. But it seems that he is not a French as I thought.
well, the guy is non-EU for one I think? We probably have 2 slots right now (since we released Dalbert, but I wonder if he's been in europe long enough to get citizenship of some sort now) - lose one with Trubin if we sign him, and we may be keeping the other for another player

Balogun has had 1 good season - if you're saying he's the same price, there's a huge risk that he's another JM golden handshake in 3 years time - I'd argue there's more risk with him than Lukaku. you're right, that with his age, there's potential for him to grow a lot and with re-sell value, but don't assume that these sort of things always work out.
