I think it's too soon after Lukaku left to put up the poll, I think considering the dark days that are coming we probably would put him in La Grande in 2 years time.

And my main point is simply that it could've been even better.

I'm referring to our selling / off-boarding in general, not just Lukaku. So much wasted / foregone money in this department. Perhaps my ranting about our general inability to sell has clouded the conversation specifically regarding Lukaku's sale.

Forget the consistent failures to get rid of the likes of Joao Mario for a second - are you telling me we couldn't possibly squeeze out €5-10m more from Chelsea or P$G for Lukaku and Hakimi? If so, we'll have to agree to disagree then.

I just don't think we're really wringing that sponge dry when given the opportunity. Not sure what's controversial about that. Considering our desperate financial situation and the increasing wealth disparity between EPL clubs (plus PSG) and everyone else, I want to take these cunts to the cleaners.

I think the Lukaku deal is sensible and acceptable - nothing more. And I'm not attacking you at all but bruh I remember you yourself being annoyed at the €115m figure the other day. You were saying the exact same thing that I am, frustrated we couldn't get an extra 5-10m. What made you change your mind and now say that it's a great price?
Tbh, we're selling much better than we used to, I can recall us getting pennies for the Triplete guys (yes, they were past their best) but still.

Regardless if it's 115M or 130M it is indeed great business, buy him at 70M~ then sell 2 years later for profit on such a high transfer, under the global circumstances, while winning the league, plus with Conte leaving who for all I care was the biggest contributor to Lukaku's great form with us. This is the perfect transaction imo.

Yes there's the issue of replacing him on the field (some people are within their right to think he is also a great influence in the locker room, I don't) and most people are worried about that but for me it makes me excited! whether we buy a direct replacement, be it Vlahovic/Zapata/Correa or we use one of our youngsters and keep playing with 2 strikers or we rely more on Lautaro. Yes it reeks of lack of planning and/or improvising and I'm aware we more often than not fuck things up in these situations but I can't help and be optimistic. The unknown, having just won the league, with a new manager and a somewhat new attacking core (depending on what happens in the market) is something I'm looking forward to.

Fully agree with them. I couldnt care less about Hakimi, Kovacic, Coutinho,... once they've left the club and Lukaku won't be exception.

But this is not the time to say it. How the fuck did they find the need to go out and say such things at this very moment? Couldn't they be respectful and give it a few weeks? Lukaku hasnt even left.

The only major cons and they're major is that this is happening two weeks before the season starts and the fact that the money will not be reinvested on the pitch.

As long as we don't sign correa
Correa is a very skillful player just lack consistency, if we're able to improve on that he could turn out to be a great signing. Big if though becuase conversely he could turn out to be as bad Felipe Anderson.

And why is Lukaku up for LGI? What is the criteria? Still bothers me that Recoba is there but not Ronaldo who can be considered top 15-20 all time Inter player. Lukaku was a great player for us but not an all time great.

We had a player like Correa. I keep forgetting his name. Used to wear socks really low. Came here from Parma or Spezia I think, it was when Mancini was here the first time. I think... Not sure. He was south American.

Edit: Luis Jimenez lol

Ronaldo deserves LGI. He contributed alot for our UEFA Cup. he helped us to win the Scudetto which was robbed by mafioso and Rube cunts.

he is the greatest talent in football ever. he has massive cultural impacts on fans. also drives many people to support Inter.

Inter paid Ronaldo the highest wages during 3-4 years of injury and paid for the best doctors in the world, and the moment he got better he tells the club either sack the coach or I leave. That ingrate bucktooth can never be LGI.

We should have fired the coach back then.

But Ronaldo was for me not the reason for supporting Inter but the reason to love football. I guess everyone has a different opinion of what arguments there are for placing some in LGI.
