Roma play very very good and don´t look like the Roma of this season. They press very high and we struggle big time in the midfield. Veron especially have had a horrible first half.

We don´t really deserve the 1-1 goal, yet, but we were getting there. And we got it premature, and that is so phucking great. Hopefully, Inter will be concentrated at the beginning of the second half.

What I don´t get is why we insist on the long-shots when Roma has struggled in their defence.

Poor Performance for Inter in the 1st half, we were lucky to score, thanks to slack defending from roma. Lets hope we built on this in the 2nd half , and improve our defending.

Anyway the injury to martins seems bad, lets hope its not serious.

Yea we're lucky to be tied at the moment. Our midfield was losing the battle to Roma's but maybe Davids can change that in the 2nd half.

Hopefully Oba's injury isn't serious, the replay of it looked brutal as his knee kinda twisted.

We met them at the wrong time, they seem to be a rejuvenated side and all of the roma players are fired up for the match. We would do well to get a draw here.

Well, I don't know where to start, maybe I should say this: :yuck:

This has been a tactical disaster. The main reason is Recoba, his presence his simply phucking up the midfield. It's not just his poor performance (he's been embarassing) but the fact that midfield lacks width badly.

The Roma goal was thanks to poor defending by Burdisso, Cordoba and mostly Ze Maria: Burdisso and Cordoba missed the headers, and Ze Maria just didn't challenge Montella at all, and he had plenty of time to try to!

Ze Maria was awful. The midfield couldn't get a move together, it's just not working. Adriano kept dropping back, and he didn't do anything, and neither did Martins. It's not their fault, the midfield can't create anything for them.

All the players looked static, they didn't run enough, they weren't aggressive at all. So disappointing.

Martins is out now (damn it) and Pitbull is in. What I would do now is get V D Meyde in, we need some width in midfield.

One positive note: cambiasso. I swear it's not because he scored, I've been saying during the whole first half that he's been our best player by far.

Recoba needs to step up, he's been very disappointing, now he's up there with Adriano, we need him to perform. He can't let us down again.

I dont think thats a fair relection of the game, Roma had more attacking moments and they looked threatening when they attack esp from the right from mancini. As for Inter, we were limited to long shots.

man its a pity Martins fell out as his speed could have done the trick in the 2nd half anyways we scored on time and i hope we finish it off in the second half!! Remember real they scored just before ht just like is and after the break they killed roma and OH yes congratulations Cambiasso with ur first official inter goal

I kept on saying Guys that we need 2 damn ball winners alongside Veron , Now the game starts for us . Roma lookd good becasue we were very bad tactically and it was a risk that mancio lost in playing with 3 strikers and we were only left with cambiasso and the 4 defenders behind which made alot of attacks on us . thank god we haven't conceaded more than a goal .

Ze maria is very bad today , Stankovic sounds very aggressive and angry playing against his ex-enemy (roma) .

Now Davids will stop Mancini on the right flank ...you guys will see but the worst thing is that martins got injured .

I think we shall push VDM later in place of Cambiasso that's if they want to draw with us or if we were loosing . But nevethless , i think that we will produce a great football in the 2nd half and end up scoring a goal or more .

I repeat guys Roma look very good because of us . we failed in the fst half tactically and the players don't spread the game wide .

Yeah, just remember Roma from last tuesday. They dominated for the first thirty minutes and had Madrid on the ropes, but come 38th minute Raul opened up the scoring and the entire second half was Madrid's.

If we can intimidate and dominate the first and last five minutes of this half, we'll have it under our belts!

I agree with you Fris , But who shall VDM be on the expense of ??

I mean we need the balance that we lost in the fst half at the midfield , so let's play with these players and you never know , maybe Adriano will link up with Recoba and cause such a threat on Roma especially with Veron playing freely as He is well covered by Davids now and Cambiasso .

Just when we needed Martins the most, he got injured after a bad bak tackle from De Rossi. We did start well, but our passes have not been that good, especially upfront. And our tactic seems to be just shoot from outside (long range shots) all the time. I guess Davids is just the player we need for the second half. I hope we pass the ball well in the 2ndhalf and perform better to win this match. Haven't been able to see J.Zanetti's run that much, is he effected by the left back position ?? Or is it coz of Mancini's presence there, so that he can stop him ??

I agree with Frisko and ILuvInter. I was really afraid when Roma got their goal. :scared: But then Cambiasso scored his first official goal for Inter!

Don´t get me wrong, Martin´s injury is really sad. But maybe the fact that our midfield will be more compact now and Recoba playing alongside Adriano up front could be a good thing.
