Well with Championship arldy wrapped up this is the only REAL important matches we should play for. Might as well continue our streak and also bring home the double this season, and of course win it three years in a row.
Not much needed to be said, old foe.
Both team are great and know each other well. Roma will probably go all out since they are almost secured with the second place and they will want to add the Coppa to their excellent season.

Forzzza Inter and lets go round 1

I opened 3 match threads and we won all three of them and if we don't win this one because you stop my streak, you're dead. :boxing:

Seriously, I want this Coppa much more that I've wanted it in the previous couple of years. Doing a domestic double would be great and, I think Tim will concur with this, we need to avenge that defeat to Roma at the San Siro that ruins the opportunity to finish unbeaten with 100 points.

Forza ragazzi!

This game is bigger for me, than the one we lost at Sansiro against Roma. While that game was mostly for records, this one is for another trophy.
Grande Inter, its time to do the double.

Agreed..Plus if we win this one it will give the Coppa more importance.

Recoba did well in the last game and he always does well against Roma so we should play him and go for two DM..Just dont let them score first or fast.

If Mancini wins Coppa Italia this season, it will be the 11th Coppa Italia in his career. :|

Oh yeah I really want us to win this final first when we were going to face roma in the final I didn't give a crap if we won or not but now after what they did to us at the San Siro I want that freaking cup filled up with the blood of Totti and friends.

I hope Materazzi doesn't get a yellow because if we miss him in defense it would be a tough blow due to the fact the Materazzi likes to shine in finals.

Well there ya have my congratulations then. A goal or 2 going for the 2nd tie is essential for us. Roma are going for all-assault im sure, coz this is athrophy they are close to winning after ages and therefore expect a nice warm welcome. If you look at the disciplinary situation then you`ll notice they have 3 key players in Mexes, Chivu, Pizarro cautioned. Take one of them, or all of them out and it will be a very big blow for Spalleti for the return game. But we have also some players on the list. Matrix&Figo must definitely be there for the 2nd game. One thing is sure...Defeating Roma 3rd time in a row in Coppa final...a jjoy.

Tim Cup final: disciplinary situation
Monday, 07 May 2007 10:23:23

MILAN - Disciplinary situation for Wednesday's Tim Cup final, first leg match between Roma and Inter at the Stadio Olimpico:

Roma
Disqualified: -
Cautioned: Chivu, Defendi, Marsili, Mexes, Pizarro, Rosi.

Inter
Disqualified: -
Cautioned: Burdisso, Dacourt, Figo, Materazzi, Solari.

Not good to have some many guys nearly out of the second leg. Lets try and get chivu, pizzaro and mexes suspended for the second leg. We have the depth they don't.

If Adriano, Figo, Ibra or Solari play there's no way both Mexes and Chivu will have clean games (by clean I mean picking up yellow cards). Then again, I suggest we play Samuel-Cordoba in our 1st leg so we have Materazzi 100% for leg 2.

I think Ibra will only be able to play the 2nd leg, but that doesn't matter we can definetly beat Roma with Crespo-Chino or Adri-Crespo. Cruz however should be used ONLY as a sub because he's proved only lethal when he comes off the bench. Otherwise he's just a waste of space that contributes nothing.

I hope either Recoba or Adriano will be ready (in good form) for this game because one of the two MUST play (if Ibra isn't fit).

Adriano is in horrible form (again) so Crespo should definitely start with Chino.
