I say only on FIF do we see people predicting 30 goals, Team leading scorer, greatest signing ever....for a guy that scored 19 goals and his team was in relegation trouble and had never scored more than 9 goals in a season(in Europe) before his sudden goal scoring breakout at age 29.

I'll never stop amusing myself with some of the comments over here.

Well i could understand that people get worried if a certain player has always scored 15+ goals and suddenly in the last season before we sign him he scores under 10 , but i can't understand at all why people get concerned why a player who usualy scores under 10 suddenly scores 19.

I don't think people are mad at him cuz he sucks.....I don't think anybody here actually thinks that, or at least most of the people.

The problem people have, including myself, is that we claimed we were going to rebuild this team and go young, but the first signing we make is a 30 year old player. Not exactly the young prospects we all were looking for

Really, whole football world is making fun of our old squad and what are we doing? Buying a new 30 year old striker. Now let us buy Palombo too! And after doing that we should talk with Stankovic and Chivu about new 5-years-contracts and persuade Cordoba to making a comback in our jersey.

Hmm.. yes, that's true.. but if we sign Destro, and put Longo, Bessa in the first team, and than use Coutinho, Alvarez, Guarin, Obi(or Poli), Jonathan, Juan Jesus.. in our starting line-up, our team won't be old anymore..
