Good, but still dont want him starting.

Can I ask why? He clearly improves our game - a technically gifted striker, who is fast and who can actually finish the ball within the frame of the goal. As it stands now, to me, he's a must starter.

As of now yes. But he isnt the kind of player that can make you compete for trophies alone. He doesnt have that kind of spark. He has a spark, please dont get me wrong, but not that extra bit.

But we aren't really looking to compete for trophies...we're just aiming for EL qualification, or perhaps CL qualification.

Palacio will do for now.

Wtf? Since when are we aiming for the EL qualification? We are Inter, thus we aim for the Scudetto/CL. This mentality has and will never change no matter how fucked up the previous season was. Heads up!

And btw, I see no problem palacio starting. Def an upgrade to our attack.

were half the team juve are. we haent improved our weakest areas over last season and we finished 6th. I'm not having a crap mentality, I'm just not going to do the Liverpool fan thing where every summer you get convinced you're going to win the league and then you set yourself up for nothing but disappointment

That's subjective, my friend. Recoba had that spark. A lot of it. But he had no grit. Palacio, I agree, is hardly gonna feature in anyones dream team, but he should start IMO. That 'spark' or lack of, is offset by a mix of solid skill, experience and other qualities.

The pal there said Scudetto/CL.Your first point of critisism is your comparison with jube? How complex is that?I have much respect of your posts but this time you're wrong and that fact Inter got 6th this year doesn't tell me shit. With so much shit we had this year with coach changes, crap mentality given from the loser fucktard Mr miserable :ranieri: and very fuckin results which only i believe can happen one time in fuckin 100 years with loses in home games from utter crap teams.

I got sigh of comparisons with Jube.I don't have any loser DNA inside me as a fan of this club.

What fantasy squad do you think we have? It's not like we have any such players that would get benched by starting Palacio. The most likely player who would slot in his position is Jonathan. FUCKING JONATHAN. Where is his spark?!

Palacio is the best option we have to play to the right of Sneijder, end of. There is no better alternative. You can only use what you have, and of those, Palacio is the best option for his position.

And anyway, I desperately need him to score a shitload of goals this season otherwise I will end up losing a bet and getting a rattail of my own :palm:

Dont get me wrong, it's not some 'losing' mentality. We should always be competing with the scudetto. But sadly, I don't see it happening this year. I've spent months banging on about how we need to make a clean break and spend 2-3 years doing a complete categoric overhaul of the players.

We don't have the team unit that Juve had, we haven't SIGNIFICANTLY improved the squad, we only have one striker...
I just personally don't see us competing for the scudetto this year. I think we will end up 15+ points behind Juve, sad to say.

I see your point bro.Well we have to remain patient till the end of the mercato to have a whole view of the matter.

We definitely haven't improved the squad significantly and i'm really depressed by the fact that we keep spendin some decent to high numbers for transfers yet we don't seem so great..

Striker's addition becomes urgent. But the cloud remains with Pazzo and what we're about to do in that area..

Agree. It could be a completely different picture by the end of the season.

I'm hopeful, dont get me wrong, we will do significantly better than last year. But I think the additions Juve have made + the areas we have not addressed means its only going one way (still)

We should consider that those bastards got a safe approach on Italy and relationships with rest clubs so their deals are way easier than ours..

Otherwise why wouldn't be able for us to snap Isla or whoever...

We have our fail way to deal with Presiozi everytime..sigh..That's our approach till there..

IMO our weakest area over the last 2 seasons was the coaching.
