Thanks for nothing Mancio !!!! You sold off some quality technical players for your "prehistoric dinosaur" version of football which has absolutely no place in football. I can see him soon becoming what Capello has become = Outdated.

Directors don't make coach/manager $$ and mancini is all about the $$. He will coax somebody to pay him. Wouldn't be surprised to see him in China, Qatar, Russia and others next, before moving to national teams.

Silvestre came in 2012. He was not Mazzarri's.

You really think Mazzarri bought all those players? He was the Napoli coach with Cavani, Lavezzi, Hamsik. Then he came to Inter and asked for Belfodil, Vidic, Hernanes, Dodo? I'm sorry but my logic refuses to accept this idea. Imo, transfers are usually done by the club with the reference to the requirement of the coach. Mazzarri was probably not a whiny bitch and settled with whatever he was given but to believe he was the one who spent those money? We know who Moratti post-treble too well tbh. Also, do remember, Mazzarri came under Moratti who didn't really support the coach. In November, which is about 3 months after he began his journey, Thohir came. That was the only full season he got.

Again, had Mazzarri got the support like Mancini was supported by Thohir, then we can compare them. Actually, Mancini should have done much better as he got many of his wishes.

How about we just accept the fact that we spent(wasted) a lot of both coaches and it led us nowhere. Neither situation was ideal for either of them but I'm almost certainly sure they were: 1) aware of what was happening at Inter before they signed 2) paid better than pretty much every other coach in the league. They both failed to deliver, even though we did spent a fairly decent sum of money in the past two summers "fulfilling" their wishes and getting players so that they could play their ridiculously ass tactics.

The question was who did the better at inter. I didn't say Mazzarri was better. Both had done miserably but Mazzarri and Mancini are not comparable.

Thinkin this ass is on the same level as mourinho and herrera? :palm:

comparing mazzarri and manshitni is ridiculous. One drive a ferrari while the other drive a manor. But seeing how the ferrari just finish a second better than the manor showed which one is the better driver

It was a mutual termination so he got some money to terminate the contract and won't be in the books any longer.

I was rooting for him in the beginning of last season, even until mid season actually. But his 'different line-up every game' bullshit constantly drove me crazy. We played one fantastic game, then we played like a bunch of amateur kindergarten kids the very next game due to the constant never ending squad rotations. No consistency in our play, no room to develop the chemistry between our players. He just didn't have a clue who his best players were, what formation worked best for the squad, etc. He just spun his little filthy wheel of fortune to decide everything, every single motherfucking goddamn game. :palm:

Thank you nonetheless Mancio for leaving us a better squad compared to that idiot Mazzarri. You could have become a good transfer director. You are good at making phone calls and convincing people. Don't put that talent of yours to waste.

Can't believe it happened. The timing is just so terrible only weeks before the new season. If it happened in June, I'd understand, but this is whack.

So was this all Mancini not being 100% committed and didn't like the contract offer from the new ownership?

Mancini gives up on Inter money
By Football Italia staff

Roberto Mancini will only take half of the €5.3m that he should be paid this year by Inter.

The Coach and the club officially parted ways yesterday, after ongoing disagreements over the transfer market and the type of contract that should bind the two parties.

While an official statement was released confirming that Mancini and Inter had parted ways, the exact nature of their separation deal was not specified.

Now the Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that the contract recision will see the 51-year-old be paid a liquidation bonus of €2.65m, that is to say, exactly half of the €5.3m he would have earned in the remaining year of his contract with Inter.

Mancini could have pressed and asked for a payment of the full one year that was left on his deal, but the two parties went for a 'soft' divorce.

It's the club that agreed with him on those terms in the contract. Mancini showed his noble side not milking Inter till the end. Mazzari did it, but had every right to do so.

Too bad Mancini had said just a few weeks ago that he would not have been a burden. He forced us to fire him and still got over 2 and a half millions. I certainly won't thank him for that.
