Capello: "Inter ?They have called to me.I said yes, and then they didn't call anymore "
Yeah, we were fooling around with Capello. :D

Inter 1-0 Cappelo

Ciao,
Tim

hmm...

Capello at Juve, Scudetto-count: 1
Inter (after not calling Capello back): 0 scudetti, 1 Coppa Italia

& If his team can't do anything without one player, then u can hardly call him a great coach. Reliance on one player to score all ur goals is never a good thing.

Sure it is hid fault that the club cant come up with the funds that he deserves to build up a team ... Spurs and Chelsea (even b4 Abrahomovic) have spent more ... much more

About the money, Wenger hardly dips into his own pocket to pay for the new stadiun now does he?!
Where did i say he does so ???

But then I didn't expect anything more from somebody who's watched EPL for the last 2/3 years tops & thinks they know it all!!
Wrong againn !!! (as usual) ... been watching EPL since bout 96-97.

and finally u have mentioned all the years where Wenger and his team has failed ... but had u found the time to count the successes he has had with Arsenal u wud have found that very few have such success in recent years.

U may not like a certain person , but u shud always be respectful towards what he has acheived even if u choose to ignore the circumstances in which it was done.

Agree with u Primo ; and i am surprised that nsome of us choose to turn a blind eye to reality and facts.

Unfortunately it seems that dislike for Capello is stronger than their desire to see a successful Inter ! :wallbang:

Unfortunately, it seems that your sense of humor has been dulled somewhat.

like him or not, cappelo is a great coach and u cant deny that, and evertually if mancini doesnt do anything with inter,i bet that he will be the one to coach us if mancini doesnt win a scuddeto or a champions league in his final year on his contract with us,i dont think he will be sacked this year nor do i want him to be sacked,he has dones alot to inter and i have faith in him,he won us 2 trophies in one year where managers came and gone since 97 and havent won shit, and he is also making us play better so i can only hope that he will make us a winning team again.

Undoubtably due to our on-field performances after spending in excess of 20M in the transfer market

So we did flirt with Capello? If we had a real chance of getting him, why didn't we?

His achievements at Juve is already remarkable. Have we done a mistake?

I don't doubt that we will achieve sucsess soon with Mancini, if he keeps Pizarro-Veron apart, but it would go faster with more experienced Capello I think. Well, Inter is a living patience test so.

May be we would surely have got Capello had we not been able to get Mancini. As we know Moratti, he would get his man anyhow - no matter how and when !! :D

I am sorry but I do think that Capello would also had been a good coach for us. But again, it's Inter we are talking about.

Anywaz, I wanted Mancini and we got him. PATIENCE is the next thing we need and also hope that Mancini shows professionalism when doing his job !!

;)

Well I hoped for Capello but I had to settle with Mancini instead, so this is comment I don't like to much. And my patience with Mancini have run out for a couple of weeks ago.

Just sack him.

Four reasons.

1. He prefers his backwashers in choosing squad.

2. Because of number one, he has poor relationship with part of the squad.

3. His tactical knowledge is very very poor. He cannot surprise you. He's always the same. He trusts that players play.

4. He can't handle the pressure.

I miss you Hector. I miss you so bad.

We have done this before it won't help 1 bit. Give him till the end of the season if he doesn't put it right here Le Guen. But I believe he will get it right. ;)

Let's not make anything hasty now. Hopefully Mancio can make us fly later on.

Sacking him now would do no good...I would wait until the Christmas break

Really, we can't have him waste talents like Adriano, Samuel, Solari with his poor tactics :fero:

I say we wait still...

In addition to that get a specialist to get the team harmony in place ( I would gladly accept that job )

I would also assign a psychologist for the team including special sessions for Mancio himself.

I would make the team visit a hypnotist,it worked for Wigan and they are in second place. If it works for us we would work wonders.

If all fails = Hitzfeld
If not get Hiddink at all costs...
But the most important point here I guess is hire me to keep this team together :)

Yes, I second that. You should also get a big fat salary then miss your first flight to Milano and get drunk in discos :)).

Being serious, getting a german coach doesn't sound like a bad ideea, what we need now is some authority.
Still, Macini should be given until Christmas to put things back in place, but if he fails.....
On the other hand I wouldn't change coach just for the sake of changing the coach, our board should start negotiations with some world class coaches and
decide if sacking Mancio is worth it.

Yeah, Milan derby is looking real pleasant right now.

As for Mancini and the imminent sack (unless of course he's develops a brain) that is coming at the end of the season, let's discuss it then. ;)

Milan derby = Hiddink ;)

But i still want Mancini here till the end of the year and lets see what happens. We might have a good run in the CL and with some luck win it..

I seriously think that our main problem lies behind the scenes, just take a look at what every player that left us had to say.We must make it an environment that players want to come to not avoid..
