I think it is funny that posters keep referring to Eriksen as a viable midfield option when we all know that he is a liability in Conte's formation. He does not run, hustle, or tackle. He is very much last in the pecking order of our midfield and his inclusion in the eleven means that his teammates have to work harder to cover for what he does not do. We should get rid of him. What's the use in having a player sitting on the bench that earns a shit load?

I can't stand the sight of weak cunts running around the pitch and not being able to track back or put in a tackle. The fact that Eriksen has been benched by Gagliardini sums up the esteem Conte has for him.

He even fucking changed the formation for him, as he couldn't work in 352 as one of the side midfielders. It was only after a few games where Conte saw it doesn't really work gameplay wise as we were too exposed that he ditched him and later in the season he switched to 352 altogether, especially in Europa League.

So in your mind, your highest paid player, you bench them after 3 games? Keep in mind we won 2 of those 3 games (tied 1 against Sass...who also put 3 past us in the first round when we didn't have eriksen). So you're creating a fallacy around his shortcomings an it's effect on the team. That somehow his performances warranted:

- BORJA 'GRANDPA' VALERO starting in AM for 3-4 games in a row (eriksen as his sub?)
- Brozovic in AM (vs Roma...we were terrible, brozovic known terrible in AM role)
- Barella AM
- Borja AM again (v Napoli)

The only time we switched to 3-5-2 was last game v Atalanta and the 4x EL games. And why is Eriksen "unable" to play in 3-5-2? For latter part of Pochettino's run and Jose's time with him, he was playing in CM.

Don't embarass yourself on this please. I have very clearly stated when we were rumored to Eriksen that we shouldn't get him. It's all over Eriksen's thread. However, that said, you get him, make him your highest paid player, you better damn well try to make him work (similar to giving lukaku full 90 even when he wasn't fit, his touch was garbage etc). And under no circumstance do you bench said player for valero (a player who didn't even play til December because Conte didn't want him; a player who you will 10000% not renew), brozo in AM (known failure in this role), barella in AM (not good at all in this role). That's a flat out insult.
