In Indonesian, his tribe's the hardworking one. With a good mentality as well. I've few Batak tribe friend that represent this strong character. If he sign for us, I wish the best for him since Mazzari loves hardworking player.

With him, Kova can focusing on distributing ball to our front line. Last season we lack of ball winning midfielder. Kova did it well though. But with him we'll have better midfield. Well, he lack of pace IMO, but it'd be compensated with his good positioning.

He really doesn't play in front of the defence; when he plays in the defensive midfielder he's usually a destroyer, very mobile to try to get the ball or receive it and make an attacking run.

He's a box to box midfielder, and we're getting him to be a defensive anchor in the midfield (which will not turn out too well, considering that's not a natural position for him).

In fact, in Cagliari, Daniele Conti plays in front of the defence as a pure DM, while Nainggolan is in front in the central and attacking midfield.

Again, not the player we need.

A mobile double-pivot (that is, one without a true destroyer) can work, it does wonders for Germany anyway. Especially in a well constructed back 3 where the defenders know how to stagger themselves and defend against opposing AMs and SSs without allowing the strikers to get into too much space. So yeah, I do believe a midfield built around Nainggolan and Kovacic could do well, but do I think it's the ideal setup? That depends on how Mazzarri wants the team to play. Personally, I believe we'd be better served by someone who concerns himself solely with breaking up play, a Makalele, as opposed to someone who also likes to get forward very often. Otherwise, someone who can help us retain possession, like Motta or David Pizzarro, would make me a very happy man.

I wouldn't complain about Nainggolan, he just leads to a different way of playing.
