Our last and more or less meaningless match in the Champions League. But the main reason I started it is because of our shortage of players. According to Channel 4 Mancini said he only had 13 players available for the match. I count 12 (outfield), but I guess Dejan will be ready then.

Ibra, Samuel and Nico are suspended. Adriano is away. Vieira, Figo, Dacourt, Rivas, Toldo and possibly Dejan are injuried. Cesar is not registered, neither is Pele nor Alfonso. That means we're without thirteen players.

This should make these players available:
G: Cesar, Orlandoni
D: Chivu, Cordoba, Materazzi, Maxwell, Maicon
M: Zanetti, Cambiasso, Jimenez, Solari, (Stankovic?)
A: Crespo, Cruz, Suazo

I expect Bolzoni and Dennis Esposito (and maybe Puccio) to be included. That leaves Tornaghi (gk), Federici (d), Perissinotto (d), Schiavini (m) and Slavkovski (a) in our B list.

I have to say that if we win this match, I'll be stunned. I'd still be stunned if we drew. What if some of our players get injuried tomorrow?

Any thoughts, interisti?

i dont expect much from the match....it's meaningless and may give an opportunity for youngsters to come in and show off themselfs...
i would love to see what our "future" can do on the field

I think PSV lost the match that they played yesterday night vs. Roda Kerkrade because they were thinking at the Ch. League match. I think they will be more motivated for this game rather than the Eredivisie clash.

I noticed now. That means Stankovic is out.

Slavkovski will not start, I assure you. I don't even think he'll be called up as long as we have Crespo, Cruz and Suazo available. My guess is that Crespo or Cruz starts tomorrow with Ibra and the one that doesn't start will start with Suazo vs PSV.

It's too early for me to tip a line-up. I'll see whether we get another injury or not.

Psv will play in the strongest formation, but that's not a very strong one although i should not underate them but Inter can win the game even with a B team. Just wait how Inters motivation is. I guess the youngsters want to prove themselves to Mancini etc. so Inter will probably win I think... and it seems like Mancio is going to play Materazzi. Good to have him back!
