They are exactly the same. They have done NADA in pre-season. People are just happy they don't look like shit, which is an AMAZINGLY low bar.

I also reckon them being shit will return once we're in real games with points on the line.

Okay, I'm overstating it, true, it's early days. But they do look better to me - Candreva more so than Dalbert - playing in these positions and under this manager.

We will have Asamoah back in some week and on the right we still need to see how good Lazaro will be. Candreva is not bad, he is changed in this position, it's true. He is decent as i said but i hope that Lazaro will adapt fast and can give us some creativity.
I can see Candreva being important when it comes to defend, he will do a lot for this team. But he's crosses are still not that good.
