I'm not bringing up this name as a suggestion, more as a "wish he played the other side", but Miguel Gutierrez...but of course he plays on the left where we're pretty well covered so there's no fit or use there.

Every single Girona starter will leave on huge transfers

City might have to sell the team and already talking about bringing 4 of their players over. (Think 2 on loan from city, 1 from Troyes that city owns… 4th might be an actual girona player

With Denzel most likely on his way out, who do you think is the most suitable and realistic transfer target for the right wing back position as a replacement, at least for the time being?
Many things may change until the transfer window opens, which will take things into consideration, such as whether Darmian continues to perform at a high level and is deemed worthy of being the next season's starter, whether Buchanan has already stepped in and is performing well, or whether we really need to find a new player for the WBR position and return Darmian to the right centre back position, where he performed admirably.
The names listed below may or may not be the correct profile, but they are at least more realistic than TAA, Hakimi, Porro, James, and so on. Anyway, I don't really like mentioning names here but i'm bored :)

Can play both wings.
Underrated. 190cm 'fullback', not wingback. Holm already did very well at Atalanta with similar stature.
Interesting body strength.
Injured. Pricy, well all the name mentioned here are.
Just ignore the name similarities. Interesting attacking full back, although defensively questionable.
Porto's home grown, may not looking for a move.
A captain, versatile. Big clubs target.
Pricy, injury concern.
Versatile utility players for rotation role.

Some wonderkids with an actual senior level appearance.

Since we already fill the developing player spot with Buchanan, we will most likely get a cheap reliable veteran to replace Dumfries i.e. someone like Lazzari.

The only interesting free agent for us in defence I saw is Varane. He is born in 1993, so he is going to be 31 in April. I would offer him a 3+1 contract and give him the middle CB spot.

Pavard - Varane - Bastoni would be great, also having 3 French starters <3

Make sense, if the contract is minimal and Acerbi is retiring or losing his touch.

Otherwise 20-24 year old should be the aim, to learn under the tutelage of Acerbi, De Vrij and Pavard. Buongiorno is my choice...

can any of our players play CB? I feel we are pretty set there. Bisseck, Pavard, Bastoni, Darmian, Devirj, Augusto..... maybe someone on loan.

We need a top #9 to have 3 guys rotating. We have plenty of CMs and defenders out on loan that look promising. Really should be find a goalie for a Sommerless future and just start bringing in youth players to fill in gaps we need.

Save the money.

Top transfer this summer is Barella and Lautaro contract extensions and keeping Inzaghi as coach. Then maybe a Dumfries contract extension if we don't get a 25+ million offer for him or a player swap.

To me its get rid of Klaassen, Arna, Sanchez, Sensi, Radu, Salcedo and Correa(use him as a first option on a youth prospect in Argentina) as well as any player on loan that has no future here.

Save their wages to bring back Fabian in 2025.

How exactly are you going to pay for that player, I’m all ears!

In case you missed the memo we are the poor boy in the classroom, don’t let our wonder season convince you otherwise.

To get a top class attacker or talent requires fonds that is simply not there. Why do you think we have Arna and Sanchez on our bench and Taremi on the way. Because we don’t have any we burned it on salaries.

saving on wages from 7+ players who just aren't good enough. Promoting Carboni, Esposito or using him to get us a real 3rd striker. Not saying get us a world class talent. Get us a promising player who can score more than 5-8 goals to take some pressure off Thuram and Lautaro

Carboni seems to me more like Mkhitaryan or Barella successor than a forward or SS.
Esposito is interesting option, and I'd like to try him, but there is chance for him. He will be 5th choice behind Taremi and Arnautivic.

I'll concede that Balogun has mostly been a dud for Monaco. He had 4!!!! huge chances to score against Strasbourg and fucked up every time.

He knows how to get in position, but he is shooting like Barella instead of Lautaro. For 40 mil that's robbery from Arsenal. Balogun haven't had 10 really good games for Monaco this season, it saddens me really. Mentally he ain't there yet for a bigger club, just like Šeško, who is younger by 2 years.

Now what I think he needs is for someone to find a better position for him to play. Thuram has been better than him this season, easily.

I hope he finds his way, maybe he should go to one of the Borussias, they'll know what to do

It was a bullet well avoided just like Scamacca,
saving on wages from 7+ players who just aren't good enough. Promoting Carboni, Esposito or using him to get us a real 3rd striker. Not saying get us a world class talent. Get us a promising player who can score more than 5-8 goals to take some pressure off Thuram and Lautaro

You wrote top 9, how on earth can that be interpreted any other way?

The only thing we can afford is, bosman, injury plagued and other development gambles.

Esposito will unlikely ever develop into anything other than a mediocre attacker like his predecessor in Pinamonti, Destro, Longo, Colidio and mulattieri and a bunch of even worse players.

Also he has a buyout clause

Carboni is a midfielder on the more offensive kind
