Gio Simeone is reportedly unhappy at Napoli and wants out. I’d be all over it for a third option.

Yea but he leaving for playing time. We need a #3 but will he be happy with that? Even if we get him as a #3 we would be looking for a much better #3 and #4 for next season

Alessandro Buongiorno and Riccardo Calafiori Could be interesting, we would soon need some long term replacement of our aging players at the back. Through I doubt Calafiori is going for cheap and question is if he is even needed as it is in same position as Bastoni so it purely be a backup as he will never likely be a starter here and he is to defensive for wing back position. Buongiorno is kinda the same issue he is also left footed and is same age as Bastoni, so while he might take the Acerbi position I’m still somewhat sceptical as neither of these will ever be any threats to Bastoni, so getting them is for adding depth and dept alone.

Mattia hasn’t played very much so hard to make any sort of qualified evaluation of him.

What we need is some to take over for Acerbi and De Vrij and I have my reservations regarding these.

Vicario certainly is the next big thing (and perhaps already the best in the league alongside an injury-free Maignan), but I have Di Gregorio down as the second-best Italian keeper right now.
He's also one of our Primavera boys and 'only' 25.

Most saves in the league (71), second-highest save percentage after Sommer (82,2%), a clean sheet every third match, fifth fewest goals allowed after us, Juventus, Fiorentina and Bologna.

Sommer's been outstanding, but is 35 - we need, need, need to lock Di Gregorio down this summer, and park him somewhere if need be. Relationship with Monza is great, there's no just reason for this not to happen, and happen reasonably.

after watching Arnautovic and Sanchez brainfarts today, I happened to watch Lugo vs Atlético de Madrid

I believe the club should be able to drop 100k on this 20 years old forward - Leandro Antonetti

He sent Çağlar Söyüncü sliding the wrong way and gave a shit about Oblak.

Antonetti currently plays in Spanish 3rd division but seems a much better player than Arnautovic (which doesn`t say much but also doesn`t cost 8M + bonuses either).

His contract is expiring in June 2024 so 100k should be more than enough to land him this January. Puerto Rican roots but got spanish citizenship, so the NON-EU quota won`t be troubled.

A little unfair the ball was delivered behind which slowed his run.

Terrible because it should have finished the game but it wasn't a pass you could finish first touch. Still, Sanchez and Arnautovic need to go they have been non-existent.

Zirkzee and Frimpong. Would be nice to see the future of the Dutch NT here. Would fit in really good too!

Frimpong would cost more to get than we'd get from selling Dumfries. He's also got some real defensive deficiencies...Leverkusen's 3-4-3 operates very differently than our 3-5-2, Frimpong would have a lot more defensive responsibility playing in our system and I'd have concerns for how that would go.

Wonderful attacking instincts though, and lightning fast. As the disclaimer goes, I'd take a shot at him if we weren't fucking broke.

I believe 40 million is the release clause, from what I read. I could see Premier League interest in him or maybe even Bayern.

Nah. Bayern won't make a move for Frimpong for the same reason they didn't make a move for Hakimi. He would be a liability in a back 4. Also they just invested 30m for the rb from Galata. Frimpong is destined for EPL

he's 16, and out of our reach. He's already a Chelsea player. Can't move until he's 18, but he has signed already. Even trained with Chelsea during the ecuadorian tournament break.
