PES or FIFA series?

I wrote this post after playing FIFA12 5 matches in a row and failed to win because of the bullshit defense system, so I was alittle bit angry.

I just hate the new FIFA, it`s miserably shit. but I liked the previous ones more. it`s more fun than 12.

I disagree, you can tell if you're on the ball with say Neymar, and then with Metzelder. Even the speed at which they kick the ball is better.

Also Devious, I'd get used to the new defending if I were you. Much better experience overall and you can properly defend rather then just charging down and tackling. It'll probably be tweaked for Fifa '13 anyway.

Well, in real life I prefered defending and I know all about this art, well adding to that it was almost impossible to get past me, but that was long time ago so I cant prove it now. I just felt funny that someone is trying to lecture me about defending in particular. blivious:

Anyway, It is just a game, and I want to have fun, If I want complications I`d be up to play some puzzles bad ass horror or adventure game instead of having to keep pushing 3-4 bottoms just to take the ball from the opponent, I`d rather have someone else to do the small techniques for me while I just enjoy playing simple football on a screen and leave these complications of micro fraction of time of movements` predictions to that small man on my screen.

I still love Fifa, they try to be different and they also invent new stuff to make the game look more real. but at some point of their evolutionary pattern, maybe there will come a time where Id just put on my sports wear and go play some real football instead of burning my poor fingers trying to push 66 bottoms at the same time just to pass the God damn ball in some direction with specific power on specific range or to just to chose between tackling with my right 3rd toe or my left ass or center dick. JUST TAKE THE GOD DAMN BALL FOR FUCK SAKE!! :fu:

You're making it sound like you have to do a 30 button combo to tackle a player :serious:

It's just you have to run around like you usually would when attack and go to the player and he will automatically tackle if you jostle, or you can speed things up by stand tackle or slide tackle.

Anyway, your argument makes no sense however. You can say that you like more arcadey games than simulators. I enjoy arcade racing more than say Gran Turismo. But if I were a racing fan I'd probably enjoy Gran Turismo more since it simulates what I like.

I hope the next thing they invent is make a bottom that allows you to touch the ball with your hand delibretly in which the ref may and maynot see you.. and they make it work mostly with jube and bilan where the ref wont see a hand ball... now that what I call mothafucken realistic! :yuno:

I used to love PES more than FIFA.
But for the past 3 years I think FIFA has become better and better while PES has gone worse (at least for me).
I play defensive-mid in real life football so I like the tactical defending in the new FIFA better.
At last defending in game needs some specific skills not just randomly pressing one or two buttons.

It's because I like playing simulation-football more than arcade-football game.
But if I play with my friends (only for fun not one-bit competitive) I understand why people love PES.
It is played in a faster-pace, much much simpler.
Though the superstar level is definitely much more difficult than legendary level of FIFA.
They do crazy things every second, like suddenly delivers an overhead cross from impossible angle then scoring with another weirdly executed overhead shoot, and scoring every fucking free-kicks from every fucking positions.
Even Metzelder plays like Messi, it made us feel every single time we play against AI.
And that's one reason I stop playing PES at home.

I think both have their own good and bad sides.
But with what they are now I prefer FIFA.

if you leave the fifa controls on auto switching/passing/shooting it sucks. i cant do anything without the manual controls. they also let you pull of some truly amazing passes and shoots. sneijder and ricky are legends with passing.

ive never owned pes but ive played with some friends and it just seems to controlled for me. plus i play fifa manager career like its heroin... which is why i try to stay away from the ideal squad page.
