I don't follow BPL too much, but Martinez has proved his worth in lower to mid-table clubs, I believe.

So, like a pre-Inter Mazzarri but from the BPL :yao: (except that he's foreign)

Why not Jorge Jesus?!

This. ONe of the best managers in the world, with an expiring contract in 2015. Has won everything with Benfica aside from the UCL across 6 very successful years. Finished in two consecutive finals of the Europa League. Notably ripped Juve apart last year. Plays amazing football and actually WINS.

He has a win percentage of 60% over his 6 years with Benfica.

The problem with foreign coaches is that bottom Italian teams park the bus, and they're not used to facing such teams. All the small teams they've faced attack them.

I.E. Benitez' record is almost the same vs. top teams and bottom teams.

I like Roberto Martinez. Everton players have come out and said that Roberto is a much much better tactician than Moyes.

Never heard of him either, but seems interesting.

The fact that we're just throwing coach names out there is proof that Inter is a mess. ET better sit with his team and decide, ok, what TYPE/BRAND/STYLE football do we want to play? Then start looking at coaches.

The hottest name for summer 2015 is Roberto Martinez. To be hones, I have no idea how good this guy is.
Any (real) opinions?

I haven't watched Everton much, but his FA Cup win with Wigan is definitely something imo. According to wiki (lel), he likes his sides to play possession-based attacking football.

That's exactly the type of style we need to climb back to CL spots. Our best results post-Mou came under Leo who played like that.

The main problem with Italy, is that the type of style need to get to the TOP of the league, doesn't work in Europe, which requires more direct/counterattacking style.

He done well with wigan previously winning the cup with them but getting relegated, i remember him being linked to Wengers replacement but i would love him here. He can work on a shoestring and so long as we get what he wants he will do well, also i enjoy the football he gets his team to play. Only concern is if he could handle the pressure and the expectations here

We should really remove the season year from this thread and just have this open whenever the pressure is on. Having a new manager thread every season is very Inter.

Didn't know Jorge Jesus's contract expires next summer. I'm afraid a EPL/Spanish club will snatch him up.

Guidolin won't return to coaching bro...

"On 20 May 2014, Guidolin left his role as Udinese head coach to accept a position as technical supervisor of the three teams belonging to the Pozzo family (Udinese,Granada and Watford )"

and who the fu is the other guy?!
This other guy is the brightest German prospect coach, who is having his sabbatical at the moment. I m a big fan of him, but I cannot see him joining Serie A. Would love to see him at Schalke though.
