Took your advice, installed it, and now my computer can't detect BOTH my keyboard and mouse.:stress: I'm in school now and am gonna try uninstalling the program and use the CD I got with the hardware.

As for warranty, fuck this, it's just past a year.

I think that this is a hardware problem.

Try using the mouse on different computers (and different operating systems if possible). If you still have the same problem, then you probably got your answer. :)

Since we've started making this topic into a help line, I have a small request.

I have Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Safari as my browsers, but my preferred one is IE. Suddenly, it stopped working. It says that it cannot display the webpage etc and it happens with all webpages. I then used Firefox, but apparently it started doing the same thing. It doesn't even attempt to search the page. It's an immediate effect everytime I try to use either one. Now I'm stuck with Safari which is a Mac product and sometimes I get confused. I really want my browsers to get fixed. Anyone know any solutions? (Apparently my internet connection is fine, so don't ask me to fix that :D)

So what you're saying is that, Firefox and IE are not showing the pages, but other browser is(on the same computer) ?

Yes. The problem must be on the settings but I have no clue on how to fix it.

You can reinstall firefox, but IE you can't uninstall so that could be a problem. To be honest I don't know why it's not working. Hard to tell just by reading your report.

Yep, that's the main function.

And for playing FPS games. :) (Though I rarely play FPS games)

Yuko, reformat your comp then. :D

Yuko, reinstall your Firefox and it should work.
If you still prefer IE, you can download IE tab under Mozilla Add-on
Go to a Mozilla page and right click then choose the "View in IE tab" option.

You can then view all pages in IE under Firefox.

Principle idea from Stardock too bad the big players like Microsoft and EA will never ever agree with them. But I certainly will be buying more games from them.

Stardock Announces "The Gamers Bill of Rights"
Plymouth, MI – August 29, 2008 – Stardock announced today the Gamer’s Bill of Rights: a statement of principles that it hopes will encourage the PC game industry to adopt standards that are more supportive of PC gamers. The document contains 10 specific “rights that video game enthusiasts can expect from Stardock as an independent developer and publisher that it hopes that other publishers will embrace. The Bill of Rights is featured on Stardock’s website (www.stardock.com) and is on prominent display in Stardock’s booth (1142) at the Penny Arcade Expo. “As an industry, we need to begin setting some basic, common sense standards that reward PC gamers for purchasing our games, stated Brad Wardell, president and CEO of Stardock Corporation. “The console market effectively already has something like this in that its games have to go through the platform maker such as Nintendo, Microsoft, or Sony. But on the PC, publishers can release games that are scarcely completed, poorly supported, and full of intrusive copy protection and then be stuck on it.
Chris Taylor, CEO and founder of Gas Powered Games stated, “This is an awesome framework for the industry to aspire to, and ultimately so that we can provide our customers with the gaming experience that they have wanted for years, and really deserve.
As an example of The Gamer’s Bill of Rights in action, Stardock instituted a policy of allowing users to return copies of The Political Machine purchased at retail to Stardock for a full refund if they found that their PC wasn’t sufficient to run the game adequately.
“The PC market loses out on a lot of sales because a significant percentage of our market has PCs that may or may not be adequate to run our games. Without the ability to return games to the publisher for a refund, many potential buyers simply pass on games they might otherwise have bought due to the risk of not being certain a game will work on their PC. The average consumer doesn’t know what ‘pixel shader 2.0 support’ means, for instance, said Wardell.
According to Stardock, the objective of the Gamer’s Bill of Rights is to increase the confidence of consumers of the quality of PC games which in turn will lead to more sales and a better gaming experience.
The Gamer’s Bill of Rights:

  1.  Gamers shall have the right to return games that don’t work with their computers for a full refund.
  2. Â Gamers shall have the right to demand that games be released in a finished state.
  3.  Gamers shall have the right to expect meaningful updates after a game’s release.
  4. Â Gamers shall have the right to demand that download managers and updaters not force themselves to run or be forced to load in order to play a game.
  5. Â Gamers shall have the right to expect that the minimum requirements for a game will mean that the game will play adequately on that computer.
  6.  Gamers shall have the right to expect that games won’t install hidden drivers or other potentially harmful software without their consent.
  7. Â Gamers shall have the right to re-download the latest versions of the games they own at any time.
  8. Â Gamers shall have the right to not be treated as potential criminals by developers or publishers.
  9. Â Gamers shall have the right to demand that a single-player game not force them to be connected to the Internet every time they wish to play.
  10. Â Gamers shall have the right that games which are installed to the hard drive shall not require a CD/DVD to remain in the drive to play.

Game has gotten good reviews so I don't see were your coming from. The let down is that it didn't live up to all that Will Wright promised but then no overhyped game ever lives up to all it promised.

I did play it a little, and I have to say, it looks pretty good. But it can have something to do with the fact, I didn't play this game since like 2003. But really, really good impression I have to say. When it's all out, maybe I'll give it a shoot.

The fact is, people, PC people, are getting fed up by Konami, and their job with PES. If people are still playing PES5, there must be something very wrong with it for some time now.

Too bad, Fifa on PC is fucking getting screwed in the ass by EA, who makes a lot better version on console

...

From other news, Capcom, just gave a hint, that they will start making a lot more things on PC. Not that they will abondon, the consoles. It's more, that they will make multiplatform games.

PC gaming - is really dead.

ps. Resident Evil 5 people. Yes. You heard right.

...

And on last note, I watched trailers from Fallout 3, and I have to say, it looks very, very impressive. And the new system of play, the fact it will be FPP, and with some time you will have the opportunity to use the targeting system, it's not a bad idea after all. After seeing it in the game, I'm looking very forward to this game.

ps. The dude from EA have said, that if the visual aspects of Fifa09 will be worse on PC, it is because, the PC's are not powerfull enough - LOL
