I don't want us to win big here. Just a hard-fought match with a win of 1 or 2 margin (max).

The only reason is if we do win big, right after we win big, normally we're too relax for the next game. And that cannot happen around this time. On the contrary, a tough match and difficultly-achieved result, will (hopefully) keep our players toes on the ground and get them more motivated to fight the following week, which, we all know against who.

APPIANO GENTILE - José Mourinho has called up 21 players (3 goalkeepers, 7 defenders, 7 midfielders & 4 strikers) for Saturday's Serie A Week 11 match against Palermo at the Stadio Renzo Barbera (kick-off 20:30):

Goalkeepers: 1 Francesco Toldo, 12 Julio Cesar, 22 Paolo Orlandoni.

Defenders: 2 Ivan Ramiro Cordoba, 6 Maxwell, 13 Maicon, 16 Nicolas Burdisso, 25 Walter Samuel, 23 Marco Materazzi, 39 Davide Santon.

Midfielders: 4 Javier Zanetti, 5 Dejan Stankovic, 14 Patrick Vieira, 19 Esteban Cambiasso, 20 Sulley Muntari, 36 Francesco Bolzoni, 33 Amantino Mancini.

Strikers: 8 Zlatan Ibrahimovic, 9 Julio Cruz, 21 Victor Obinna, 45 Mario Balotelli.

So I guess we can conclude Adriano calling in sick was a lie. He probably overslept and decided to call in sick not to get in trouble. Fed up with Adriano, this guy's a fucking retard. He's got the intelligence of a five year old. Screw it, Cruz has done better in half the time anyway.

Also Quaresma out, is he injured or is Jose just not satisfied with him?

Prolly just dropped, and rightly so to be honest.

So what formation do you guys think Mourhinio will he use and which players will he choose? Will it be a 4-3-3 with balotelli-ibra- cruz or 4-4-2 with Ibra - Balotelli/Cruz?

And some people really blamed Mancio for Adriano situation. Adriano is just an ungrateful brat.

Wtf lol? Do you know what the flu is? It's not a runny nose, it's the fuckin flu. Fever and shit, in bed all day.

I'd start Balotelli in his place.

The Inter coach explained the absences of Adriano and Quaresma from his 21-player squad for Palermo: "We have a very strong group of strikers and I can't call them all up. Adriano would have been there if he hadn't had the flu

At the press conference today,Mourinho revealed two important things about the starting lineup against Palermo..

1)Muntari,Ibra and nine others will play..
2)Mancini performed really well in midweek's friendly match and had had a positive week in training..

So,judging from Mourinho's words,I expect this lineup for tomorrow..

------------Julio Cesar------------------
-Maicon--Cordoba--Samuel--Maxwell---
--Vieira(Zanetti)-Cambiasso-Muntari--
-----Ibrahimovic----Mancini----
--------------Cruz-----------

Must be some kind of record then. Maybe Adriano should give his body to science instead. Someone getting rid of the flu in under 24 hours isnt something you see ever day.

That he's up and training the very next day at elite level is simply extraordinary.

An obvious lie from Inter.

How i would love to see this formation...But maybe rest Cordoba since i think he is cautioned..Maybe JZ at LB too cuz Viera is a must here.

Jimmy I would reply to your post but you have a David Booth avatar and I have a sense of dignity.

At least he's loyal, compared to the player you idolise, and will defend for the rest of your life. ;)

I think Mou said Adri would play if he trained all week. Adri is still not out I think, but another couple of weeks like this and he will be.

I still expect a 4-4-2
Cordoba and Maicon both on yellow card. They need to be careful not to miss the all important derby d'italia
But it seems we need to play all three of our best midfield trio, esp when they are all fit Vieira-Cambiasso-Muntari

I want to see:
1.- the partnership: Ibra-Cruz that can give us more confidence
2.-Samuel and Cordoba in the back, this a solid defense

Man, what a shame. Adri could be very important for us this season.

I'll give it a few weeks though, to guess if he's totally out of INTER or not.
