Ok so the conlusions:
1) Wo won't win anything this season (copa italia maybe if Gasperini is sacked)
2) Gasperini got to go he actually is worse than I thought when we hired him.No change of tactics just sack him
3) Jonathan seams quite good actually too he plays the same position Maicon does
4) I don't remember watching Inter match in which we played worse defense than today (the fact we've got Lucio and Samuel really says a lot about Gasp)
5) If somehow Gasperini is not sacked in the next couple of weeks I'm not going to watch Inter games while being sober (got to get some supplies...)
6) Forget about seriea this year not to mention champions league
7) If Gasp is not sacked soon we won't be playing CL next year
8) Palermo sucks other teams like napoli, lazio, udine will tear us apart with our brilliant coach THE GASP

Thats just so positive ! :eek:blivious:

Cesar's careless in the 4th goal of Palermo, it's worse than our defence system

It wasn't only Gasperini's fault. He did great subs imho, and did well to not bring Pazzo in. Sure, 3-4-3 brought too much space for them, but Julione screwed it up as well. It was a nice game overall, we should have won it, but life goes on, there's a long season ahead.

FORZA INTER! ANDIAMO RAGAZZI!

Y'all remember that rumor from pre-season that Eto'o had a fight with Gasp? I bet, if he doesn't change that lousy 3-4-3 soon, & God forbid, we keep under performing with it; many more of those fights will start erupting...

This is gonna be like last season, horrible start then Gasp is sacked. Then the scudetto will be beyond reach.
Welcome back dark days. Oh how I haven't missed you.

Guys guys guys... You seem that dont UNTERSTAND one thing...
We are Inter .. We are not BARCELONA,MAN UTD, REAL MADRID, BAYERN MUNICH and so oon....

Its not about our coach or our Formation ... We changed 3 coaches.. Every coach was playing in diferennt formation 4-2-3-1,4-2-fantasia, 3-4-3 and so on...
Its about MOURINHO guys :S
Gasp will change the formation but again we will continue to lose.. to fight for 2-3-4 place.. Not for scudetto OOORR CHL .. Chl for now is just a DREAM... Until here comes MOURINHO or SOME FUCKING MASTER MIND like Mou

We are shit our players are shit ..

Today i saw something new .. More attacking side but with no Conection.. WHEN we have to defend we are ..... i dont have word that BAD.

Only good thing was ALVAREZ,Jonathan,Milito and J.OBI

Honestly, I think we would have won if Sneijder had started instead of Zarate. I think he was our best player in the second half, controlling the game with precise passes and great vision. Forlan is wasted on the wings, he should form a partnership with Pazzini instead of Milito who, albeit his brace today, lacks the pace and technique.

Ignoring the defence, I really liked the way we played today, and I think a huge part of that is down to the Obi - Sneijder - Alvarez - Jonathan midfield (with Stankovic acting as a CM with limited success and Sneijder playing as... an AM of sorts). Alvarez does look like a great player, and unlike his matches during the pre-season, he showed technique, anticipation and a great use of his limited pace.

Sorry but this made me lol. with this crappy defense like ours you can't do shit, you will lose twice to BBilan again and probably to juve aswell, you will get knocked out very early in the CL.. again.

Yes we got some good players, but that's just not enough..

Agreed. You'll probably loose again to Milan but that's not the point. You've got the talent to win the serie A for sure. The 3 man defense will change for sure but more importantly things better get sorted out fast or Wes is on his way out. Mark my words.

Moratti :)
Two official games, 0 points. I hope we won't wait for the third game to make changes...and I agree with M Moratti, Pazzo should play. He has more incentives to play well.

We could have won yes, but then the weaknesses of the stupidass defence would have been shadowed as hell.

I only liked that I saw potential on this team, and if we change the formation, we'll dispute head to head with another team, the Scudetto, mark it.

Props to Gasp for putting Alvarez in. A risky move but Palermo was a bit retreated back to their half so Ricky had some room to operate. Very encouraging to watch his game, but again, that's not going to work in a long run, I mean Ricky in a two-man central midfield.

All Alvarez knows is dribble. I curiously watched him everytime he'd get served and all he wanted to do is dribble - defense, midfield, attac, just fucking dribbling for the sake of it, like he wanted to prove something. In a game like this, I think he was a mistake to get out of the bench. Other than that, Stankovic needs to gtfo, weakest link of the team.

So much to take away from this game. So fucking much.

1. For one, the 3 man defence doesn't work. Not for our defenders. Samuel is slow, Ranocchia is slow, Lucio tends to stray forward way too much. Its definitely not made for us.
2. But more than the 3-man defence, what worries me is how Gasp sees Cambiasso. Cambiasso is still not being utilised as a DM, which is worrisome and frankly disturbing. Our defence would have looked a lot better if Cambiasso were simply a protector rather than being played as a CM along with Stankovic.
3. Which takes me to the 3rd point that the biggest failure in the formation is the 2CMs Stankovic-Cambiasso, this partnership does not have the passing or control to build an attack, it does not have a DM for it to protect good cover. Playing Cambiasso that forward is repeating the same mistakes of Rafa and Leo.
4. Sneijder is best played in the center. He was barely involved in the game when played at LW. The moment he stepped in to the center, he was able to assert himself better.

I won't focus on Zarate or Forlan here since they have some time to gel and get it right.

But there were some positives from this game -
1. Jonathan looked a beast, very Maiconesque. The good thing was that he did not show any lack of confidence when going forward. Defensively he wasn't tested much but still did decent.
2. Obi has a bright future.
3. I was impressed with Alvarez as well. Showed some great touches and ball control. Also, when Sneijder moved to center, there was good interplay between them. We saw flashes of that in the first half against Milan and few more flashes today.

A 4231 or 4312 with Sneijder in center, Alvarez as CM and Forlan in a free role as support striker or winger would give us plenty of creativity. All Gasp has to ensure is that Cambiasso is used in a very deep role.

This was some fucked up shit!

Fuck whoever brings up the excuse of Palermo being further ahead in their preparations! that has nothing to do with this!!

How many times they were about to score on counter attack?! if they had one decent striker you would've seen another Inter-Schalke match!

Our first goal was stupid and lucky, second was a penalty kick, only third goal was a nice teamly played goal. On the other hand all Palermo's goals were well played goals. Go and watch Palermo's second goal again. Hernandez was just jugging in the middle of the field with no one on him!

Inter got a new coach, Palermo got a new coach.
Inter lost a star player, Palermo lost 4 starters!!!
Yes they played home and we played away but we are Inter.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying why we lost and we should've won. I have no problem with the loss, after all you win some you lose some but the fucking tactics!! that 3-4fucking-3 shit!! our players were lost, they didn't know how to attack just kept shooting from distance, forgot how to defend too. About a year ago we had the best defense in the world!! what the fuck is going on?

What was up with keeping Stankovic for the whole 90 minutes?! are you kidding me?!

6 fucking years we didn't lose to Palermo!!

Bravo Gasp!!

Can I get a thank you from everyone who understands that the problems in this club's defence are way deeper than simply 3-4-3 or 3-4-1-2, but are largely also down to the induvidual players in central midfield as well as in defence. HOWEVER, it would definitely help to have a bloody midfield in front of the quite horrible defence and another formation could provide the midfield even with immobile players we've got in midfield.

Tho I'm disappointed, the reason I supported Gasperini was because I believed he was smart enough not to go fucking pushing on a style of play that did not fit this team. I can say already that I'm wrong because if he changes now, he is only doing it not because he wants to but because he's pressurised to change. It was clear for a month or so it was not taking us anywhere.

Don't blame the formation!? really!? they had so many fucking chances on the counter it should have been 6-7 goals up to them. I'm not talking about the goals that entered, i'm talking about the ones that with a little bit of quality would've fucked us harder than these ones did. Assperini didn't even know what he wanted to field at first, dropping Sneijder to the bench! He's an asshole! He's still experimenting, he doesn't know what he wants to do with this team. Fucking retard! Did he even give 4-3-1-2 a chance!? no he didn't! He's a .........................:palm: I need water...........
