According to GDS we got the Slovakian Ondrej Duda from Legia Warszawa, he's a AM and his style of play is similar to Hamsik. The rumored price is around €7-8M according to Slovakian sources.

I'm basically the reverse-bandiera and therefore I'm all for us taking risks on younger players as I believe that's the only way we'll climb back to where we want to be (given our lack of resources). Although, I really hope he isn't just an AM as we already have Shaq, Hernanes and Kova for that position.

Botta on a free, Jonathan for like 4.5m, Brozovic on loan with an option to buy. We can't really complain about those transfers. If we sold Jonathan tomorrow we'd probably get our money back.

But seriously: We have enough money, we just can't spend it wisely. We can't allow us to sign this kind of players just to loan them to fucking Chievo Verona. We have to sign players for the starting 11, not for the bench or for the loan to small clubs.

I told this 100 times, we need leaders, we have younger players - Kovacic, Shaqiri, Icardi, Brozovic, Santon - Its solid younger team! We need leaders one for ST, one for MC and one for DMC, look champions all around the world they have 4-5 players 30 years older, we cant win without leaders this f_cking season was failed because this reason!

We had a lot of older players last season and it didn't seem to help much. Even now we have Palacio, Hernanes, Medel, Guarin, Rano, Vidic, Handanovic. The core of our side isn't that young. Personally I feel talent is the most important value. Of course having a team comprising completely of kids isn't wise, but that isn't our problem

Vidic, Palacio, Handanovic are all above 30. Medel isn't that far off 30. Neither is Guarin or Hernanes. Also, is there really a big difference between a player in his late 20's and a player in his early 30's?

I think people are just grasping at straws for reasons why we are not winning. Last season it was because we weren't giving young players enough time, this season is because we have too many young players?

Better players is the answer. Age is largely irrelevant.
