Absolute professional. Just too old, and way blow the class the we need. Played on one game this season, but never really complained.

I am a little pissed that we are sending him on loan. This means we might be paying for a good 50% or something of his contract.
His contract expires in June 2009 with us, so he is basically done at Inter.

Thank you Dacourt and goodbye. He was never an impact player for Inter but will always be remembered how solid he was for us, stepping in for Cambiasso & Vieira in 06/07 when they were injured a lot of the time.

Dacourt did really well in 06/07, especially in the Cl before he got injured. Sad to see him go but I guess it's for the best.

Dacourt disappointed at Inter

Fulham new boy Olivier Dacourt has hit out at Jose Mourinho for his lack of first-team opportunities at Inter.

The French star moved from the Nerazzurri to Fulham on loan on transfer deadline day.

The 34-year-old, who has previously represented Everton and Leeds, is hoping to have a chance to shine at Craven Cottage after playing a peripheral role at Inter.

“I worked really hard during training and Mourinho's training methods are excellent,” Dacourt told the Corriere dello Sport.

“It's a shame he never gave me a chance to play, even though I was told I would get one.

“I always gave 100 per cent, but I was never taken into consideration for the first team.

“I never argued with Mourinho, but evidently we had different ideas. That's the way things go.

“I would probably have had more chances under Roberto Mancini because he knew me very well.

“It's hard to leave Inter because I loved it there and I want to thank the Moratti family for the two great seasons when I won Scudetti.”

I feel sorry for him. These things give us a bad name and I really dont want that. I always want the best for EVERY player that belongs to Inter. I always liked Dacourt in some way, but I knew that he wasn't one of our best players.

I don't think he could really be usefull because we have better options on midfield than him. But still he could be a nice backup.

I was sad to see he didn't went to Bologna, because I thought that would be the best place for him. He would have played often and I could still see him busy. I don't want to see English soccer, so now I won't see him. He deserved better....but perhaps he made a mistake too, because he agreed to go out on loan as well. I think it always come from both ways. It's hard to believe if this is the real truth, or that the press takes another chance to get Inter down.

A good soldier, does everything as told. Didn't expect him to perform so well when we had midfield crisis. I won't miss him, but I'll surely remember him as a squad member that won us scudetti.

I think he played more than we all (and maybe even himself) expected.. He basiclly became a starter just because we had a ton of injuries in midfield, especially with Vieira..
But was always at disposal, never created any problems, did what was expected from him, and he deserves thumbs up! :thumbsup:

Same as with Cruz, very good memories, fond memories, he gave us a lot at times, but he is not La Grande Inter IMO.
