I think the old Kara topic got lost.

One of the lesser known Nerazzurri but one of my favorites. Rarely if ever features for Inter, but he never complains about it and often has expressed his desire to stay with Inter to prove himself. Deserves more playing time but then again so do alot of our players. Could be leaving in the summer and if he does I wish him the best.

Also scored a goal for Greece yesterday.

Once again, Matrix didn't speak badly about Inter at all. Karagounis has a big heart but for crying out loud, he needs to find a new team because the situation with him at Inter is getting beyond a joke.

I still remember his stupendous performance in the 2nd leg of the Benfica UEFA Cup clash last year. He was absolutely outstanding. Maybe he shouldn't be starting at Inter but he could be a very useful sub if Mancini ever decided to use him. Which he doesn't.

Yeah, Kara was amaziong then. He was also great in derby when he came in as a sub. Anyway I think it wouldn't be impossible that Kara stayed. Emre and Davids are rumoured to leave. Kara could stay though he Andy and Kily stayed.

He could be for example Veron's or Deki's first back-up.

Kily/Andy-Veron(Kara/new CM)-Cambiasso(C Zanetti)-Stankovic(??/Kara)

But if we play 2 DM, I quess Andy or Kily will leave. Like

But if Davids and Emre leaves and we play with 2DMs we need to sign DM's. That's why I don't get why we are chasing Davids out of the club.

Anyway it went little offtopic. Kara may stay.

If both Emre and Davids leave, then I think Karagounis can stay, and act as a back-up to Cambiasso and C. Zanetti. He'll be a good back-up, since he doesn't make too much noise about sitting on the bench.

Karagounis is a player that we must absolutely keep. I'm sort of fearing that he will go to Benfica in exchange for Luisao, but if he doesn't then I want for him to stay at the club and get a bigger role, no matter how hard that maybe.

I think Karagounis is a good player although he is often on the bench. his ability is undoubted.I 've never forgotten his remarkable show against Benfica.wow,it was unbelievable.

So far, there is absolutely no reason to even doubt that he'll be sold off to another team. He seems to be a classy guy, and doesn't complain about playing time - but it's only obvious that Kara can start on a few quality teams, and has no business warming the bench for us. He has a lot of talent, and as he's proven before wearing our jersey, he's creative enough to make a lot of things happen. An intelligent player, and I can only wish him the best.

Nothing but positive things to say about him. As for Edgar Davids and some other cancers that are here for no other reason but for the money and aren't worthy of wearing our colors, that's a whole other story.

Good to see Kara get some playing time lately. He's been superb and has cut into the ineffective play of Stankovic. Proof that maybe Mancini is starting to forget about his favorites from his Nazio days.

Karagounis is the only player with a right to complain in this Inter, yet he doesn't.

Karagounis is a champion. He reminds me of Maldini, hard working, disciplined, he's a good player, never complains.

I hope Karagounis stays with us a long time and becomes like Cordoba, J. Zanetti and Cambiasso - Inter players who wear the shirt with 100% pride.

I can't say a bad thing about Karagounis. Even when he was never playing did he ever complain to newspapers? no. He kept training and now he's being rewarded for the hard work and solidarity he's shown.

Great man, Karagounis. He was my favourite player in the Euro 2004 winning team (which I really didn't like).

Karagounis is a good player, IMO. He's hardworking, he has the skills, he's willing to sit on the bench without complaining. Just the midfield hardman we need. Glad that Mancini has started playing him.

Of his recent matches played yesterdays was Kara's worst, but his game against Brescia among others were very impressive from what I hear and I hope the guy stays - because he's just a great person!!!
