He got too excited and thought he was wearing a inter shirt.

I think you should be concerned if he is confusing Black and White for Black and Blue, because if he comes back to Italy in the future he might end up at the Bianconeri instead of Inter by mistake :D

Translation?

Im sure the clause was, IF Newcastle ever decide to sell Oba Oba..then Inter will get the first preference over any other clubs who are also interested in him.

I don't speak Italian... but the thing I can understand about this, is that if Newcastle sells Martins, we get a cut of the money... is this right ?

No, i think it's that we have an option, if Newcastle wants to sell him we have the first word.

But than it is something like co-ownership, but only if Newcastle wants to sell him, right?

yes, only if toons wanna sell him....
if we wants him back, and Oba is more than willing.... I doubt that toons can't prevent him... to come back with us.... We just have to get him with a very high price...

at the moment, I really want to see Oba to shine with toons... Adapting himself to EPL... I am a bit disapointed with Glenn Roeder... I think NUFC should get someone better than him... Just look at the results, NUFC is humbled by big teams.... I saw Liverpool game, Toons doesn't stand a chance with them... I think Newcastle has good enough players to push a tie and probably steal a win...

This is an uphill for Martins, as he won't get much technical helps from his coach... instead he has to work hard and find a way to beat EPL defenders. The good thing about english team is that they have so much faith in their players....

But why the hell are attackers in the EPL find hard to find the net? Look at Sheva, Oba, Bellamy, crouch in the first few months with Liverpool?
Why is that, and the defenders are not always that hard to go over especially if you have Oba's speed and Sheva's golden touch

I don't know men... I saw Oba's game..at NUFC
he was pretty good, even technically......

the thing is that we use Oba as our element of surprise, we have so many other players taking care of the play... and Oba has got used to inter way's of play..

at NUFC, Oba needs to be more involved in the game, dribbling more.. taking the ball deeper and move forward the way Henry and other EPL strikers do it..
I don't think Oba is reluctant doing so, he just needs some getting used to...

I get the feeling that Crespo is getting MUCH better after being at chelski... He is faster at the move, and more lethal... He must have got some english touch and enriching his game.. I am hopeful that Oba will be able to do the same

I dont know guys.. I just always felt the Oba is so overrated, but it`s just me, I really wouldnt get him back.. maybe when he starts to learn how to control the ball and get some expericance of positioning.. then maybe he`d worth to be considered as a return to Inter.

Agree.

I'm not at all puzzled by Oba not scoring in England. He didn't score last season either. Many here believes Oba is the saviour and so on, but in fact he's never scored that much. I know it's sad to see him go after he broke through from our youth ranks, but we couldn't keep just because he's an Interista. We need good players rather than Interistas not good enough.

Man that match in the UEFA, he almost scoed 2 magnifesent goals, one with sheer power with his left and in the second was a dazzling powerful header, far from the keeper but he got to it, FORZA OBA!

Oba scored his first league goal, albeit a penalty. He used his right foot!! how weird, and actually took it well.

Emre played really well too, scored the late winner.

Yeah, he did take one with his right for Nigeria in the African Cup of Nations too...It's pretty weird.

And I still find it extremely hard to see Martins in a jersey other than the Nerazzurra...:depress:

Then I guess you didn't watch him in the Egypt 2006 Africa Cup of Nations ;)

He played the fifth if I remember penalty kick and scored with a lob to the left of the keeper with his right
