Oh, but I would say you've done pretty well for yourself, thus far.

Durai2 is just a problem child; he spews interminable garbage inferred from conjecture, no less.

Martins is 21, going on 22. The Nigerian FA has confirmed his, and Inter's club officials have concurred. It was a genuine mistake by the former, and I hope all allegations can be laid to rest.

Ciao,
Tim

As far as I know, this is still not official. Anyone knows when it should be official?

Geordie, I assure you Oba Oba's age is completley genuine. It was corrected last season and it hasnt been spoken since, there is no way he is 28 now, The toon will be idiots to miss out on the transfer because they think his that old.

Within the next few days I imagine. It'll be a damn sad day when it does become official, wherever he ends up. :| It's hard to imagine Oba scoring and doing his celebrations for any other team besides Inter.

He's joining Newcastle. Its all over the websites and now it is inevitable.

I'm against letting Oba go, but considering his scoring record over the years the lad is not a born goal scorer; beside this is the best time to cash on him as Inter needs to balance the books after all the major coups this summer.

Good bye Oba and good luck.

don't compare him to those players yet, for all we know he could just as easily turn out to be a major flop. just like Emre.

Obafemi Martins Article

Hi guys, the following is an e-mail I received from a Michael Martin, editor of True Faith, a Newcastle United fanzine.

Ciao,

I am the editor of the Newcastle United supporters magazine, true faith.

Newcastle United is reported to be on the point of signing Obafemi Martins from Inter.

I wondered if the organisers of Forza Inter wanted to write a feature for a forthcoming issue of true faith regarding Martins as a player - what are his strengths, weaknesses, what have been the highpoints and low points of his time with Inter and will supporters miss him - is he a hero of the Inter supporters.

Obviously if you ever need anything from England, in particular, the North East of England and Newcastle United, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Michael Martin, true faith, Newcastle United Fanzine also at www.true-faith.co.uk

Anybody interested in penning this article? :)

Ciao,
Tim

Ironically, I wrote an article for that magazine when they signed Emre. I wouldn't mind writing one about Martins, I guess.

I don't know what will happen with Inter this season. Inter once swaped Cannavaro with Carini, so it also possible Ronaldo-Adriano.

These last 10 days of transfer window will be very interesting.

Interesting ??

Freaking you mean....

really I hope that we don't **** it up, I don't believe Adriano will leave, but I think Cruz will....

And Martins, is a Newcastle player....

No, it's not. It was published in their magazine and they even sent me a copy of it. It's a very good magazine, I assure you that.

I'd say we should settle this as soon as possible of whom writes, because if no one else besides me want to write it, I'd like to get started with it before I return to Sweden.

I can never imagine Oba will be comparable to these players as his attributes doesn't fit into Italian football. He'll surely do better in England.

I think it should be written by someone who will highlight both Martins' negatives and positives.

If I, or some others write it, they will be scared off and may contact the club so they won't buy him! (No offence to Martins)

Nah, they only publish it as soon as it's official. I wrote a Francesco Coco one for them too, but that transfer collapsed, so it was only the Emre one that was published.
