These Norwich fans are funny...in their forums leading up to the big game all they talked about was which one of their players to boo... :D

2 - 0. Great news . . . Mancini came to England for tour coz he knew the teams would be no push over. Looks like three wins and only one dodgy goal conceded. After Portsmouth bring on Shaktar!

The Norwich fans seems like a sad bunch. It's pre-season and they boo their own players as hell, and also boo us when we sub in players. Sad, sad bunch...

I could watch almost the entire second half without being annoyed with the SopCast. Although after 80 minutes it went back, and I missed Martins' goal.

An okay match. We lost it as usual when we started playing with one striker.

You cant blame them, having just got relegated for the Premiership.

NORWICH - Goals in either half from Lampros Choutos and Obafemi Martins saw the Nerazzurri beat Norwich City 2-0 at Carrow Road and make it three England tour wins out of three.

Inter's first was the result of a slick passing move in the 32nd minute. Adriano received from Karagounis then fed through for the Greek striker to blast home after taking the Norwich defence by surprise with his run.

Mancini's men enjoyed the run of play in the opening forty-five and could have taken a bigger lead into the break. Karagounis had a header cleared off the line in the opening minutes then Adriano had a header from Zé Maria 's cross tipped over by Green, who also blocked a low drive by Javier Zanetti before the half was out.

In a Canaries-dominated second period Inter were limited to counter-attacks, Giuseppe Favalli going close when his diagonal shot was stopped by Ward after a devastating counter-attack involving the same players who combined for the winning goal. Obafemi Martins made the result safe five minutes from time with an angled shot from the by-line after intercepting a back pass then rounding the keeper.

NORWICH CITY 0-2 INTER (HT: 0-1)

Scorer: Choutos 32, Martins 85

INTER: Julio Cesar (Bindi 87), J. Zanetti ( Favalli), Giani ( Wome), Arrieta ( Stankovic), Fautario ( Materazzi), Zé Maria (Belaid), Maa Boumsong (Bonucci), Cambiasso (Pizarro), Karagounis (Momentè 83), Choutos ( Solari), Adriano ( Martins)
Subs not used: Semenzato
Coach: Roberto Mancini

------------

It was Ze Maria, not Adriano ... :D

Cordoba's injured, so lets hope that it's not a long term one ... :(

Me and Pravesh.

How come you guys and (inter.it) said it was Adriano? If i heard it right, even the commentator said Ze Maria. :)

I didn´t heard that they boo our subs. Sure we saw Pizarro coming in, but that Damien Francis came at the same time. I´m sure they did boo to him.

I read this from net: Damien Francis has told Norwich he is not prepared to play Championship football following the Canaries' relegation from the Premiership.

Damien Francis' days at Norwich appear numbered after he pulled out of a pre-season friendly as Portsmouth stepped up their interest.

Norwich forced him back and are now playing him, fans are obviously pissed to Francis. :D

Norwich coach said: "Damien Francis is a Norwich player, he's got to go and give his best for Norwich and the supporters because this club gave him a very healthy contract last season when he was doing well, he was happy to sign it and players can't have their cake and eat it."

"It's a two-way thing. We've got an asset here and the football club does come first, simple as that."

Anywayz, Martins goal was a beauty. Favalli pressed their defender so much that he made an error which Martins took advantage and scored. :star: :star:

Oba scored again? Man this guy has been on fire. Granted we're playing Coca-Cola teams but still.... :) Someone give a match review like Cro did with the other games. Katiey or Pravesh, I'm looking in your direction. ;)

I take back my comment then. I figured there were some story regarding Francis, but I didn't really know. I wasn't aware of that he came on when Pizarro came on either.

CORDOBA INJURY DIAGNOSIS
Friday, 29 July 2005 22:31:49

BRUNICO - Colombian defender Ivan Ramiro Cordoba was forced off the pitch in the closing minutes of today's friendly match against Treviso in Riscone di Brunico after twisting his right ankle. According to Inter chief of medical staff Franco Combi's initial diagnosis, Cordoba has sprained the external compartment of his right ankle because of an unnatural movement of the foot.

Whatever that means. Why cant they say that he could be ready again in few days/months or something. Every fan should be a doctor to understand the meaning of their diagnosis´.

It's just a strain. Thats good news. That means he shouldn't be out for any longer than a few weeks at max.
