He was our best player on the night (alongside Toro, Pavard and Bosstoni) but Hakan has been our best and most important midfielder this season. No question.

All in all, Barella is our engine, but given our style of play, Hakan and Mhiki are arguably more crucial in terms of keeping possession and breaking down defenses.

I would say he needs to learn to be more selfish, but if he hasn't learned that now then he's never going to. Even when he's in on goal, his first instinct is to look for somebody else. Besides his tendency to bitch and moan to the referee, it's the most annoying thing about his game.

I dunno, his finishing has always been an issue. He tends to get into opportunities in the box, but lack of composure is letting him down.

You can't say Barella doesn't have a good shooting, because that isn't true. But some players are just mentally too shaky in such moments, and hopefully he's gonna improve in this area. Lautaro has the same issue, but not at such high extent as Barella.

Missing penalties this often as Lautaro does, is more about lack of calmness rather than poor shooting.

His deadly right foot lacks accuracy and his shoots are usually overpowered. Till he doesn't solve these issues he's going to miss more chances.
