I think we can all agree that italy has trash stadiums. Lets hope Inter can get their new and their own one before the end of the decade.

is the Juve one nice? I've been to ours and Romas stadiums. Outside of the bathrooms I didnt think they are that bad. I mean other than a giant Jumbotron TV and better seating I dont really think it's that bad. Which when I go to "new stadiums" in the US seems like that is all they do. When they tore down Yankee Stadium/ NY Giants stadium they look exactly the same. Just slightly better TVs, bigger seats( Americans are fat fks) and a huge TV to watch the game because you can't see shit at a stadium, as well as heated area to buy food(old stadiums had them outside and freezing in the winter in the east coast)

tho stadium I've been the most to was the Red SOX stadium that the seats fit only 1 of my butt cheeks ..... and the Boston Bruins/Celtics stadium that is kind of old as well.

Juve one is nice, you dont have to be there to see it. I'd say that there are some other ones that are nice, but most of them are just too old. And even if the Olimpico and Torino stadium are classic, they have that giant ass athletic track that just bothers me.

Rozzano is a bit far from the city. Don't know if I like that.

It’s far out that is true, but still within reach from the last stop of the metro line.

But it’s not like AC Milan San Donato is much sexier.

You just need to get far enough out from the control of the “Consiglio Comunale di Milano” because they proven again and again that they do anything to stop it from ever happening, they force the two clubs to stay in GM if they could no matter if it meant the end of them.

Now the politicos want to get involved at the last second. Silvio's old party calling for an extraordinary meeting to come up with a plan before Milan is without teams.

Apparently San Siro costs €10.3mil to maintain. Without anyone using it they will have a big black hole.

Shit i ve been saying for the last fucking 5 years and i dont get payed to know this shit...
Pure and utter incompetence and greed

Really sad, thats all.
What is the point in playing in a new stadium if the stadium isn't in Milan anymore?
And what about San Siro being left to rotten?
We had a wonderful stadium, historical, qnd we leave for profit of a chinese owner that dont give a shit about our club except dor the money he can make from it?
Juve stadium is shit, small and meaningless, seems a mall and in fact it has a mall directly connected to it.
The atmosphere that you can feel at historical stadiums are 50%of the magic for a football fan, we already lost our badge, our shirt, our colors now stadium seems to be next, what is left of Inter to be taken away?
Exactly, the fans, then the work is done, a club turned in a proper Company to make the best profit possible.
Don't know you, but I'm tired of all of this and sincerely my feelings for this club are fading away, this makes me very sad since I used to love this club more than anything else.
But now I feel stupid for doing so, since I'm becoming a cash cow and nothing else for my club.
I miss the sunday outside the stadium, eating a shitty sandwich before entering the curva, smoking and chatting without having to go through those fucking electronic fences, because the love for the game and not for the show, all just to enjoy being togheter and sharing a passion while supporting the team, not the property and the financial area.

I don't care if you don't agree, that's my opinion and you can have yours.
If for you it's not a problem, fine for me.
But please allow me to feel bad for losing a symbol that was there before I started speaking, where I've seen Ronaldo, Adriano, Milito, Zanetti playing, togheter with my friends for years, and now is going to be useless.
This is wrong, this means losing our identity, imagine Real playing in another stadium rather than the Bernabeu, would not be strange?
Otherwise why do they keep improving it instead of just building onother one?

I get you. "The corporate profit in mind" stadiums might just ruin the magic in football, what's left of it.

Honestly This is more on the politicians of Milano who never gave us a chance to stay in San SIro.....
Like we had many discussions with them when it came to us or us and bbilan taking over the stadium and these fucks blocked everything.
Fact is we can no longer play n a stadium that is not owned by us and that we cannot really develop without having to deal with a bunch of idiot politicians...

The fact that we re leaving is a lot more on these guys than it is on Zhang...
We were trying to get ownership of the san siro even under moratti and these fucks allways blocked everything...
Now they start to realize that the whole area becomes usless if neither of the tems use the san siro

Inter where never going to stay there for ever, large part of it is nearing 70 years old, I still believe lowest tire is partly from the original 1925 stadium for reinforced concrete and steal construction that’s a significant age.

It cost probably more to bring it up to date then actually building a new, and maintenance for such old structures can sometimes be quite staggering. So it’s just not financially sound to use it.

Why I liked the Cathedral solution because originally part of the structure would have been kept so it would still been honoured in some way.

But conservative views prevail and will force the clubs to new grounds, but it’s still relatively easy to reach. Let’s not forget GM is really in the outskirts of the City, when it was founded it was basically more or less a rural area and not actually in Milano itself.

Also the clubs are forced to find ground outside because of the city council won’t allow them to build one within.

great discussion. Like i said earlier - there will be no new stadium in any of our lifetimes. So ya - don't worry too much about it.

I didn't follow it much, but didn't they cement the first two tiers of the Meazza as national heritage or something so it cannot be torn apart and/or have its design mended?
