IFAB, a new revolution is coming: here is the blue card, details, and how it works
Another revolution is on the way in the game of football, as anticipated by the English newspaper Telegraph. According to reports, IFAB, the institution responsible for setting refereeing standards in the world of football, is ready to introduce the "blue card," a sanction halfway between the current yellow and red cards, resulting in a temporary expulsion from the green rectangle.
The English newspaper goes into detail about the novelty, explaining that the new blue card will simply be an addition to the yellow and red ones, without replacing them, and will result in a 10-minute suspension from the field for the player who receives it. However, it would not be a measure applied to all game situations: the blue card, it is stated, would be used only in cases of excessive protests by a player or in the case of the so-called "tactical foul" or unsporting situations such as repeated holding. And if you receive two blue cards, or a yellow and a blue, you get a red card. The novelty is expected to be officially introduced at the IFAB meeting on March 2nd.

Ah yes - the sport is being crippled by local fans not being able to afford tickets for games, despotic autocratry-led sportswashing, company-led multiple club ownerships and the possible implementation of a Super League which threatened to destroy the very fabric and definition competition...
But what really needs focus is for football's rules to be more like hockey, actually. We really want players out for 1/9 of a match for slightly protesting a wrong call by a sensitive referee, and there's no way that the definition of what constitutes a 'tactical foul' will lead to controversies. No way José.
Fucking numbnut idiots at the IFAB.
