Hmm, I thought the new Cagliari stadium was going to be like this:

Karalis Stadio

Anyway, current italian stadiums are simply awful. Something must be done...

Juventus are going to play in their new stadium since next season.

There are 2 versions of the new Cagliari Stadium, you posted the other version... anyway I took that from this site: http://www.calcioblog.it/galleria/nuovo-stadio-del-cagliari/1 with the Cagliari President (Cellino) that presented the new Stadium with the commun council of Cagliari.

I'm curious what's the new law about?

Its about financing and to help the clubs finance stadium projects as far as I know.

Hopefully it get passed quickly.

I know that's the place for new stadiums projects, but I'd want to talk about the stadiums in Italy generally.

I hope that Cesena, Samp and Parma will remain in Serie A because they really have nice stadiums.

I think that the nice stadiums in are Meazza, Luigi Ferratis (Genova), the new one of JuBe, Manuzzi (Cesena), Tardini (Parma). That's the only stadiums the supporters should'nt come with telescope for watch the game.

In the Serie B, there are some nice stadiums too, and the best of them is Stadio Nereo Rocco of Triestina, who unfortunately will go down from the Serie B. That's might be the best stadium in Italy, after Meazza.

Siena and Atalanta will go up to Serie A next year, and they don't have really good stadiums too. I hope that Reggina or Vicenza will go through to the Serie A too, because they have nice stadiums.

The Luigi Ferraris stadium got that nice english design but it's still old and obsolete (although it's one of the best in Italy),in fact Sampdoria (Garrone) want to make his own new stadia.
The Cesena stadium is decent,it was built for Italia 1990 if I remember correctly, one of the best for sure between the little stadiums in Italy along with the Modena,Triestina,Messina,Reggiana (the first club to own a stadium in Italy since 1994,but sadly they failed) and Foggia stadiums (although still obsolete, considering the modern standards).

I've read somewhere that our new stadium project is stalled until the new law, that Stefan mentioned above, passed.

It's only a matter of time now that Juve built their new stadio that other clubs will follow the way. One only hopes they don't become soulless like English stadiums or the venues here in North America however

Well, soul is given to the stadium by the fans.
