but he actually does  lets see if any of the players give up their millions against that twisted old fucker

and its being treated as if it was national tragedy  , we are all together against that evil lol

I think all players would tell you they don't play for the owners.....they play for themselves and/or their teammates. So I think it would be more them letting their team down than letting their owner down........

And it's not like the other teams in the NBA would refuse to pay them their 10s of millions, I'm sure any team in the NBA would love to have CP3, Griffin, Deandre etc. So they'd probably gladly leave the team if they could.....

I'm not saying it's wrong to ban him, but I do wonder how and where the GF recorded that segment of Sterling. Sounds like a PRIVATE conversation.

Yeah it most likely was a private conversation, but such blatant bigotry, even in private, deserves to be punished. Especially considering his profession and the league in which he owns a team.

Even if the other others might feel the same way, none of them are dumb enough to let themselves get taped. I feel like if he's dumb enough to say this shit and get recorded and released, he deserves to get banned. I think the reason he was punished so severely is that the image of the NBA has to remain untainted as best it can. This also sends a message to the other owners, that even if you're dumb enough to think this way, keep that shit to yourself because nobody else wants to hear about it.

Vince Carter? Oh jeez........I can't stand him LOL

.

Me too, but I say that as an Orlando fan

I'm surprised how badly OKC is doing. I thought for sure that they would get past the Grizzlies rather easily.

I didn't. Ever since they dumpstered the Spurs a few years ago, they've been giving fits to teams in the playoffs. They're built to grind out a series and frustrate the hell out of you. Solid fundamental basketball, they're a joy to watch :D

Memphis has been underrated for some years. This is not a surprise.

Damian Lillard's shot was sick. I can actually say the NBA playoffs have been quality for once.

They had a pretty good chance. Up 8 at the half, just that third quarter was disastrous =\

They shouldn't fire Mark Jackson, but every move that new ownership has made has worked out so far. Maybe they have someone lined up. Yo coaster, do you listen to KNBR, or The game? What's this whole thing about? 50 win season and on the hot seat o_O?

Raptors out. I expected them to win in 6 but the refereeing during the series was just terrible. They'll come back stronger next year though.

The Warriors had some inexcusable losses at home this year. Probably the most disappointing 51 win season ever, because there were times they played down to a horrible opponent but would then play up to a better opponent. Jackson's contract is now expired, so he wouldn't be "fired" but more dismissed since it's not a buyout. We'll see what happens, but I don't think Jackson can take them far, he's been winning with Talent alone and no X's O's coach this past year.

Losing happens, but not to the extent the Warriors did last season. They lost to the Timberwolves, Wizards, Cavs, Knicks, Bobcats, Nuggets and the Spurs reserves (One of Popovich's rest starters games) all at home. They almost had 10 inexcusable home losses but made up for it with wins they're supposed to lose. Quite a few close wins against bad teams like the Bucks and Celtics as well. Yea, there's potential, but no organization IMO with Jackson as a coach. He's a great speaker and motivator, but he doesn't have the coaching brain on the court.

I honestly have no sympathy for the Warriors even though they're in my backyard. Damian Lillard represents Oakland better than Joe Lacob and that team does.
