We played well despite the loss considering the goal was a stupid mistake and that we are playing Napoli on their turf with new and some young players. I bet we don't see Rano again...

But this game was actually not that bad. Defensively frail still, yes, and a palm brainfart, but nonetheless, it wasnt actually a terrible game.

Terrible or not, beautiful or ugly, smart or stupid...end of the day same result = We lose!!

Difference tonight was Higuain. A striker like that that is involved in all aspects of his teams play is bound to make something done over 90min. In direct contrast Icardi hit the post once after a one-two with Hernanes and went missing for the rest of the game.

I think the team did solid today despite the defeat even thought both Rano and Jesus leaked a couple of times and it ended with a goal. For a team of our aspirations we are completely cut out at the top in most games. If somebody wants Icardi I'd give him with open hands with any offer of 20mill + and try all out for Lacazette who is two classes above.

I think Mancini prepared the game good but some players are just not good enough, unfortunately, to make things happen.

Though not a bad game in general, guys. We hit a post early on and had some pretty good chances. Around the 60th minute we clicked a bit and managed several times to pass our way through Napoli's midfield, which is a good sign for the future I suppose. Finally the team is playing with a bit of intelligence.
