Sanchez was great. Arna could score too.

Alexis coming on for a 10 minute walkabout and then to miss a penalty in the shootout
Alexis changed the game with his vision of the game. Those who criticized inzhagi, I don't see them retracting it.

Second super cup in the last minute thanks to sanchez.

Sanchez's salary is 3.5 million and today the inter won 8, so his return is paid.

Lautaro bringing the SuperCup to the Curva Nord, along with the team and Inzaghi

For those here on FIF that still don`t understand the power of the Curva Nord: Lautaro passed the cup to them and the leaders lifted it a couple of times

Martinez MOtM post-match interview:
"Very satisfied, it was our objective to win this cup especially after being knocked out of the Coppa Italia. Now we`re thinking of the next matches - it`s going to be tough because we have 1 less day to recover, we can feel the tiredness by now." - Toro

Lautaro was not only decisive today, but also reached Christian "Bobo" Vieri`s numbers, making history.

Napoletani are going crazy on social, rooting for Juventus in Serie A. Was officiating so scandalous?

No, it`s just bitter to lose in the extra time. All their hope for silverware was killed by Toro.

Even Inzaghi started his post-match interview by complimenting Napoli.

Somebody from the studio asked Inzaghi about Barella`s nervosism, ruining his game. Limone said Barella made a mistake, he still needs to improve on that front. Says Barella improved in this regard since he took over, but he still needs to work on it.

Gotta love how Lautaro is still holding the cup during the post-match interview 🦁

Don't have one.

Red aka second yellow for simeone was clear as a day, and hakan should have gotten a yellow a bit earlier, he had a couple of dodgy fouls he got away with. But that's it imo, nothing even remotely scandalous.

They are just frustrated they couldn't even create a couple of decent chances against this piss tired inter team.

Simeone's FIRST yellow was soft. It came very soon after ref had given yellow to Barella for dissent which felt a bit soft aswell as Barella hadn't complained to the ref visibly too much (or at all?) during the match (Barella was mostly just frustrated in general).

But the second yellow of Simeone was clear, stomped Acerbi's foot, he was late to the challenge. It felt like ref did this all to himself by quickly booking Barella which kind of affected to the Simeone first booking in ref's mind then. This is purely speculation of course but at that moment it felt like it.

Napoli was utter shit even before the red, they couldn't create shit.

I thought the exact same. I also thought Barella got the ball on that occassion and didn't foul but I could be wrong. His 'dissent' wasn't that bad imo. Referee was quick for the yellow and then immediately gave the yellow to Simeone (it was actually in the same minute).

Ref kind of changed his own criteria in the second half. In the first half he let things go a lot more and then started with the yellows. Difference is that Calhanoglu was extra cautious after his yellow while Simeone wasn't.

Random question, but do only yellow cards for players that were one yellow away from suspension count towards Serie A? Calha had 5 yellows so will miss Fiorentina. He also picked up a yellow in both matches in the Supercoppa - does that move him to 7?

So we will miss both Hakan and Barella due to suspension while Mikhy is 90+ minutes.

How the hell we are going to beat Fiorentina is beyond me :palm: Sorry for bringing the negativity but fuck FIGC for their stupid rules!

Don't you think Asllani, Miki and Frattesi, can't take care of the middle against Fiorentina? There are plenty of times to rest, something like 6 days?
