Hype is real. Ever since i first saw The Dark Knight i tough Heath Ledger's performance as a villain will never be surpassed. Joaquin might just do it. Loved him in Gladiator.

Can’t wait to know his real name and how he got his scars.....

Sarcasm. Some characters work better as a mystery like Joker and Wolverine or Han Solo.

Also this isn’t the Joker from the Dark Knight nor is he the one from
Batman 1989 nor is he Jared Letos joker. He will not apppear in another movie.....

Why not make this movie and not call it Joker. Also super weird it will have Batman’s parents in it. They better not show them dying for a 90th time

If they wanted to do an elseworlds story why not Red Son or Kingdom Come.

Beach bums was most boring way ever to tell that money isn’t crucial for happiness and that smoking pot is really cool.

Only thing worth in that movie was bunch a boobs that were first class.

It looks like it would be a good film and JP is a great actor but i kinda agree with u. There is something very cheesy taking this comic book character and giving him a back story and making it into like a real drama film. I think the reason they did it like this is they are banking on the brands, DC, Batman, etc it all sells and tieining this movie in that universe will bring in more money and viewership, also it has other characters and areas from Gotham in the movie.

Hyped for the Joker, always thought Joaquin is a very underrated actor. I sense an Oscar incoming.

Just watched Infinity War for the third time this week, got to build a new theory about what might happen in End Game.

"It seems like a thousand years ago,I fought my way out of that cave. Became Iron Man."

"Sometimes the best we can do is start over."

Besides the other scenes concerning the 'memories' of each avenger.

Looks like the avengers are gonna use the infinity stones to set the universe backwards, go back in time on a universal scale, but back to when exactly and who's gonna snap his finger this time remains unknown but I'd suggest Stark hence Dr Strange asking Thanos to spare his life in exchange of the time stone.

Kinda reminds me of the X-men: Days of future past plot.

Devious don't you ever bring a great theory here to me that makes me believe that Tony Stark really will die in this movie, I can't handle that shit, Infinity War tried to give me a heart attack already with that. Have absolutely loved this character since the first Iron Man and don't want him to go. Let Captain America do this shit.

I've watched it so many times I could recite the extended version trilogy by heart.

LOTR is the best movie trilogy of all time, something that will never be recreated again because they don't make movies like that anymore.

I liked the Hobbit trilogy, thought it was as good as the LOTR movies. The whole thing is cheesy but it works and they are fun for me, like the Pirates movies.

Hobbit is a fun trilogy but nowhere near LOTR. They could have made the Hobbit movies much better without stretching it so much. They could add older elements that predate the story and is relevant if they wanted 3 films instead of inventing things to keep it afloat. For example more on how the Dwarves lived under the mountain, more on Smaug before he went there, more on how the Orcs advanced there, more on that Beorn character etc. So many question marks for how we came to the Hobbit saga and then random stuff to keep the clock ticking such as a 'love story' etc.
As a trilogy it was indeed fun though and based on the script and scenario it was well done.

All we had was a random dragon who moved there, a group of Dwarves that want to go home but we've seen no attachment of theirs to this home (compared to LOTR where the Hobbits live and have fun in the Shire at the beginning and then talk about returning etc) etc

Saying this, I might start the whole marathon once again

I liked the female elf in the Hobbit, she's hot, also it was nice seeing young Legolas fighting, he's always been my favorite fighter in LOTR.

LOTR and The Hobbit series are two of my fav, the only problem I have with them though is that it seems like Gandalf is the one steering the events from the very beginning to the end, it's like he knows preemptively what's going to happen and he seem to be in the right place and the right time to save the day, might as well call it the story of Gandalf the grey. Nonetheless, he's one of my favorite characters, everyone loves Gandalf.

Gandalf is indeed steering the story, but he always seems to not have control over the characters. Not Bilbo, not Thorin, not Frodo, not Aragorn, not the elves (Elrond, Galadriel etc who cannot be manipulated and also have the gift of foresight and whatnot), not the hobbits' actions (Pippin always fucks up and Gandalf has to clean up the mess, while Frodo 'died' during the first fuck up which Gandalf couldn't possibly know wasn't the case, but he did create the series of events that led to Frodo not dying in that action...) and he definitely has no clue of where the other wizards are, while he considers Saruman the greatest man alive up until that palantir moment.

For literature LOTR and Hobbit fans the films were very fluid, to use a very lenient term. Especially Hobbit seems like a movie loosely based on the book.

The Hobbit felt like a totally different fantasy series. It would have been better if they made it into an animated movie or if they followed del toro's vision, the only real positives are a few of the actors nailing it (bilbo most of them all)

That's because the LOTR orcs aren't CGI.

Watched Shazam yesterday, meh.. felt like kids movie the entire time, but it was funny, there are parts that made me lol, it's always funny when an adult acts like kids I suppose.

The best part was the last second of the movie, gave me goosebumps.
