How was Inception original, its the same argument than Japanese animation movie: Paprika.

Maybe you can compare it to the book that Paprika was based on, but Nolan began developing Inception 2 years before Paprika the movie came out...

Just because they are both about dreams, does not make them the same...I am not knocking the Social Network, because I actually liked that film more than Inception, but I can understand why Inception is winning awards...

Well, it will all get fixed at the Oscars I'm sure. Back in the day the word was that the Golden Globe winners had a good chance of winning an Oscar. Today it is the opposite. Remember Avatar last year? It won everything apart from the major acting categories at the Golden Globes. At the Oscars it didn't win shit & I'm pretty confident that it will be the same this year with The Social Network.

A good movie to watch once but Best Picture of the Year?!?! Come on!!! This is what you get when a bunch of journalists get to vote. Probably the same people who voted Messi for Ballon d'Or & omitted Sneijder :p

Remember my words: The Social Network will not win the Best Picture award.

In my opinion it could only go to The Social Network, Black Swan or The King's Speech...

The Kings Speech! Now that is Oscar worthy material. I'm watching it right now & it's terrific. Collin Firth will win the Best Actor in a Leading Role without a trace of doubt. His all-in-all performance & the way he acts from his sole, reminds me very much of Sean Penn in Milk.

If you can recall in that year The Golden Globe was given to Mickey Rourke, but the Leading Role oscar was rightfully given to Sean Penn for his brilliant acting.

So I'm really looking forward to the Oscars this year.

Dhobi Ghat
Good Indian cinema, not like the typical dance movies from Bollywood. It resumes better the problem with the social classes in Mumbai than Slumdog Mil. imo , it's a relaxed movie like "Lost in trasnlation" for ex.

I'm suprised you guys even know his name....

Even though his old films are not really something you guys prefer, typical Bollywood, there are a few that are about 'Indian' issues.. you are guaranteed a good movie if he's in it. Not sure about the next one he's signed on though..

Rang de Basanti is a fantastic piece of work and previously I thought Lagaan was impressive enough....Mandal Pandey also great...Dil Chata Hai is an oldie but a goodie for me and I really enjoyed 3 Idiots

Love Bollywood films as well as the 'new' generation of Indian films like Mira Nair...Deepa's Water is fantastic, btw

Ah come one man  You gotta admit that wasn't the most straight up story ever told! It can happen that you get confused by it, or am I missing here something totally?
