Seems like Nicky Hayden had a horror accident with his bike

Former MotoGP champion and current Honda World Superbike factory rider Nicky Hayden is in serious condition, having sustained injuries in a road accident in Italy.

Hayden, 35, was cycling with friends on a road close to Rimini on Wednesday when a road car collided with his bicycle, the American ending up on the hood of the car and impacting against its windshield.

He was rushed to a hospital in Rimini with severe head and chest trauma - and remains in serious condition.

last updates says that it looks really bad for him, we dont know if he will survive...

It's very serious. He has multiple fractures and above all edema to the brain but they didn't perform surgery because they're afraid his body is so weak right now that he would die on the table.

I was referring to doctors draining schmacher's bank accounts for nothing. Based on the little we know about him, that is. Yeah it'ss inhumane but not that I write it, it's inhumane that they do it.

He was in first a lap before, and was fighting Vinales for it.. His reaction was sad to see, looked defeated.

That was his best performance yet, finally got the bike settings right on the track and looked like the old Rossi again. Massive blow to his championship hopes :|

In the same hospital where he died, two hours before died a German athlete who was training in Italy, Julia Viellhener. She was on the bike, too.

I don't use the car very much nor the bike but from now on, when I do, I'll be much more careful.

Anyone see the GP this weekend?.. Rossi won his first race of the season :datass: The battle for 3-5 was amazing too.

Only 7 points from first in the championship, shame he crashed out a few weeks ago on the last lap in 2nd otherwise he'd be leading.
