Best solution would of been to get rid of our old guard after 2010 and start afresh. Oh what a wonderful thing hindsight is

wasnt all hindsight.. quite a few of us were calling for it at the time ;)

According to Gazzetta dell sport and Tuttosport, the 6 hour summit finally finished and Marotta (Juve CEO) said "We'll tell you everything tomorrow!" Plus I saw Guarin's picture with Marotta in Turin. Seems like the deal is done and they'll officially announce it tomorrow!

If this really happens, we ALL NEED TO RIOT!

First, we don't need Vucinic.

Second, as we don't need Vucinic, why are we putting Guarin on loan? Dumping Guarin was a way to generate money at the first place. Doesn't make any sense to put him on loan if we then can get only Vucinic who isn't useful for us.

Jesus I'm so pissed at this management. They'll get rid of Guarin and they come up with Vucinic. Vucinic?? How is that going to solve like fucking ANYTHING?

Probably Thohir trying to save face because Branca and co screwed it royally this time. You can't make a deal and few hours later just say, ''oh sorry, we were just kidding..''

I don't want any more old/average/injury prone/big wage players to sign long term. Vučinić fits basically all of that and if we can escape with just a loan it will make this disaster just a little better. Not much though. I'm also not convinced that we can do much better with our resources. Can't expect the same people that came to this idea to actually do something better.

I also don't want to sell players to our direct rivals. So let him enjoy his life at JuBe for few months and then bring him back and sell him to Syria for all I care.

Wondering whether Thohir knew that the management was going for that kind of deal in the first place... cuz if he knew... then we're definetely screwed.

Well you are right about that. Maybe we can also get better price for Guarin in the summer, if he plays well for Juve (better team mates).

One of the leaders of the Curva Nord, Franco Caravita, host to TeleLombardia, spoke of the exchange-Guarin Vucinic in the light of the statement that the organized cheering Inter published this afternoon and he said: "The statement is clear! The choice today is not I understand. Some people leave because the curve is disappointed! We are confused: do not discuss players but the choices made! spoken by young and then comes Vucinic and not only that, we give Guarin, and we're going to strengthen Juve ? But who thinks' these things?! Thohir must understand that there is passion here, and we are not a basketball club. If he does not learn quickly and better stay at home. Must understand quickly that Inter is a passion and we are not a small team. We must respect as fans because the fans also spend for Inter. Thohir is sorry? From his statements do not understand anything! He always said 'we focus on young people and then takes a 31 year old who is also fragile and gives one that while not playing well has never been booed because we know what it's worth. Nobody asked Messi or Ronaldo, but we do not want these figures and then strengthen a team that is already stronger than the no. "

IMO, the Curvas should threaten that if this deal happens they won't come to any Inter matches again.

Inter.

Where the fans are better decision makers than the management.

Truly the best club ever.

INTER 2009/10 !
Who doesn't want Vucinic here??

I definitely want him here, just not for the price of Guarin..

Remember, we bought Milito when he was 29 (I think) and also Palacio when he was 30..

Vucinic is a great player, maybe not classy scorer, but very smart and intelligent, knows how to keep the ball, assist, find empty spaces.. We will definitely benefit from him.
He can still be on top of his game for next 3 years..

Welcome Mirko!

Exactly.

I find it laughable when people say Thohir didn't know or he wasn't involved.

He is the president for god sakes and he is the one who gives the green light before any move!

LOL

Di Marzio: Inter will get only 1,5-2m€ extra in the deal

First it was 5mil then 5-4mil then 3-4mil now it's 1,5-2mil extra for us in the deal!

also Di M:Inter want Hernanes but Lotito wants 20m€ and Inter needs to sell Ranocchia to BVB and Mudi to Genova to get him!

is this guy trying to get some Interisti killed in a massive suicide event?!

Some fans that would be...not showing up because they disliked one single transfer. Wouldn't surprise me one bit considering Inter's away support and support against lesser teams at home.

I find it laughable that because Moratti was our president you now believe that every club/company functiones like that. Thohir is a successful businessman and owns 3 football clubs atm.

He, unlike Moratti, will let people do the work that is actually in their job description. Why even have a sporting director or scouts or anything since the owner/president calls all the shots?

Not many serious clubs operate like that. Look no further than Jube.

Haha. Where did the loan deal went now?

How can they value Vucinic at the same level as Guarin? Guarin is bad, but he's nowhere near bad as Vucinic. I just simply find no logic in this situation. We let Guarin go to Juve and then we need to take their offloaded player and then value him the same as Guarin??? What the fuck is going on here?
