Whereas fielding the reserves plus even more kids that couldn't beat Pordenone would have been a wiser choice and risking a loss by a 3+ margin.
This game was a must win and we surely fucked it up. I hope those who didn't care about the Coppa are happy that we may now concentrate for the CL spot via Serie A.

There is a simple concept called Consistency.

Be fucking consistent with your decisions. We didn't care about Copa when we played our 2nd team against Pedeseriec, then why changed? Because of lack of consistency, now we've had 2x120mins in Copa and seriously risking our position in SA.

It’s not a coincidence that we lost 3 in a row after the Juve game. The most unsurprising thing is our failure to score a goal from the Juventus game. That’s because Allegri exposed us and gave the blueprint to the rest of the league on how to stop us. Our offensive phase consists of one predictable play that we do over and over ever since the start of the season. I’m surprised it worked for so long. I know it’s obvious to everyone but all we do is play the ball out wide and cross and hope Icardi gets on the end of it. Unfortunately, it isn’t spaletti’s fault like everyone is saying. This is what he has to work with. Our midfield is weak, they can’t orchestrate an attack from the middle, they’re just good at making square passes. None of our midfielders have traits that make them an offensive threat like the ability to use flair and make space for themselves, and none of them can shoot from long range. That just leaves us with the option to go wide, and it doesn’t help that one of our wingers is so limited that he can’t do anything but cross. I expect us to continue this decline unless the managment realize this and make some buys in January.. We desperately need reinforcements. In this order: We need a midfielder that can create chance for himself and for the team, we need a left back, and we need a defensive midfielder.

On this defeat, I wouldn’t feel bad about it. Our objective isn’t the coppa italia, Milan can have this one they won’t be going far in it and their season is practically over as they have no chance of even fjnishing in europa league spots. Us on the other hand, we are third with a chance of extending the gap against lazio. We’re where we want to be. We haven’t lost anything yet. If i asked any of you if you would take our league position after this many fixtures at the start of the season you would take it.

So yeah, don’t feel too bad and start bashing the team for these run of losses. But you can worry because it’s understandable, we are in dire need of a chance in tactics and that can only happen with new signings. Lets not blow this.

This is so frustrating. How you gonna pretend to win against Lazio now?

I’m not being an optimist but these are the facts.. we are in a great position. However don’t get me wrong, if nothing changes in January snd we don’t bring in a player or two that can change the way we attack we won’t make the champions league.

And Joao Mario sucks as Trequartista, it would be really ridicolous if we dont get some decent player behind Icardi. Even Pastore, at last some one decent like him.

I really wish that i was wrong on this. Fuck you Brozovic too, never liked this piece of shit. Wasted money.

thats a pipedream mate. how many times have we spent talking about mercatos overhauling our team? It never happens.

TBH, what would be great is someone like Mourinho 08/09. Not because we won the treble with him, but because he had the balls to cut 17 (?) players from 27 of the first team. Which is exactly what we needed at the time.

Delusion? We need our main XI to beat a Lega Pro team? The whole point of that fixture is to use some alternative players. Doesn't mean you're throwing it around. Budget wise alone, our reserves are probably earning as much as five Pordenones.

What dream? did you read what I said? I’m just stating facts, im not being optimistic about the managment signing players, i’ve been an inter fan my entire life, long enough to know they never get shit right. But im saying that we’re probably fucked if they don’t do it this time around too. Lets hope with Sabatini and Spaletti and these chinese owners we’ll see a change

I know, I'm simply pointing out that, sadly, it'll never happen.

Totally deserved it. We disappeared from the pitch in the extra-time.
We are probably the team in the worst physical shape in Italy. In hindsight, it's easy to say that Spalletti has overtired our starting XI and that keeping on playing them even when it should be clear that they have nothing left in the tank (Perisic among others) won't help them regain an acceptable condition. We make very little movement off-the-ball and we are slow as fuck. Hence the opposition only has to keep an eye on our key players to keep us at bay.
We created only one serious chance in the whole game, and of course, the ball went to the worst finisher in the team (goalkeepers included); I would say it's too little to win a derby. Speaking about individual performances, Mario was awful, Ranocchia had a decent game and Cancelo was probably our best player (leaving aside a couple of defensive errors).

FACTS:

1. Most of you don't deserve to be an Inter fan. You don't have the right to call u nerazzurri.
4. In a normal situation we can't compete against Roma, Juventus and Napoli because our bench sucks.

No one who isn't a fan or who gets paid to watch would sit through watching this team for the last few seasons. The people here have willingly put themselves through watching this team year after yesterday each deserve their own personal trophy

Roma and Napoli also have shit benches so its not much of an excuse. Especially given that those teams are playing in Europe and we aren't.

Tired by playing 1 game a week though?I would understand if these players needed to play midweek 6-8 times by now in Europe but how can these guys be so tired by playing just 1 game every week?I think we are over emphasising this excuse.

What’s better than betting against Inter? It’s a win-win situation.

This team is an embarrassment. You don't wash off the loser in 2-3 months of good performances.

All of this because Rube rattled them for 45 minutes, and since then they've shat their pants.
