Half of the league yes.But not us.We are not in that half.Milan players are playing with passion and clearly Gattuso is a great motivator and he will be up for this one.They have camaraderie as seen from all of them standing united when they beat Roma on the bench.I dont ever recall our boys standing shoulder to shoulder like that this season.Even when we were winning.Heck even in the penalty shootout against Pordenone we were not shoulder to shoulder and some of our boys refused to take a penalty!!

One of our key issues has been motivation/intensity, but there is so much on the line this week that I can't see how our players are not fired up. First, Roma and Lazio play Napoli and Juve respectively - there's no way both of them are winning. Roma, especially, are in Naples so we have an opportunity to build a four point gap. Milan are seven points behind - a loss for us brings them right back into the race for the CL, while a win tells them to concentrate on the EL. The Meazza will be full, the fans will be screaming. If they can't get themselves in the mood for this match, then we might as well pack it up for the year.

That said, Milan are looking great under Gattuso. I hope it's an 'Inter-under-Pioli' style revival, but who knows? They're undefeated for the year and defensively very strong. Suso is doing is thing and Cutrone is coming along in leaps and bounds. I believe our best is better than theirs, but this isn't a game where we can surrender the first 60 minutes because they'll punish us.
