Merge of forums

Since there is a lot of confusion on which players belong in the "La Grande Inter" forum or the "Former Players & Coaches" forum, I think we need to evaluate the situation altogether.

The best proposal that I've heard so far is to merge both forums. Others, such as setting a poll for every 'confusion' or set up a clear category to decide, are not very viable and would be very hard to implement.

So, here are your choices. Should we merge, nor not? Should we not merge, the admins and mods will decide which thread belongs where and that decision is final. However, our decision would definitely take the members' opinion of the player into a lot of consideration. Should we do merge, the "Former Players & Coaches" forum are the one that is going to be integrated into the "La Grande Inter" forum; ie, there will be no more "Former Players & Coaches" forum.

Frankly, there's only a handful of players where there's doubt. To mix all players together in one forum I believe is wrong.

Let the plural decide where the threads go and let that be it. In the doubvious situations, I would suggest a poll as I don't see that many players having +/- 50% support and +/- 50% oppositions. The poll could go for a week or something. Everyone should be obliged to accept the outcome of the polls, like it or not.

The problem with La Grande is that we have issues about who should be there and shouldn't be there. Ideally I would want the mods to create polls for those we have disagreements about like Vieri,Ronaldo,Baggio and Martins.

The rest are fine as they are. But I don't think Martins and Baggio are Inter legends. Kova thinks Ronaldo is a legend and Helal doesn't think Vieri is an inter legend.

We (discussions) make the forum not the name of a particular forum. Besides who would want to talk about Helveg or Vampeta anyway. In all the other forums ppl discuss all former players in the same forum, no need to have own for great or less great players. Try for example interfans.org, they have amarcord-section for all former players, coaches etc.

After the vote we can decide which belong to La Grande and which belong to Former Coach& Player. Therefore, I think we should not merge the threads. Those that done wonderfully for Inter should be included and remembered in La Grande.

the idea of merging was to stop the arguments over it all because to be perfectly honest its a waste of time making polls over little things like that!!
