Our performance against the bottom 10 teams of Serie A:
vs Sassuolo. 2 defeats
vs Genoa: 1 win, 1 defeat
vs Chievo: 2 wins
vs Udinese: 1 win, 1 defeat (at home)
vs Bologna: 1 win, 1 draw
vs Cagliari: 2 wins
vs SPAL: 1 win, 1 draw
vs Crotone: 1 win, 1 draw
vs Verona: 2 wins
vs Benevento: 2 wins
We essentially lost 18 points to the bottom half teams. The league was perfectly split between the top 10 and bottom 10 with 11 points between #10 and #11.
4/10 success rate in getting the maximum points...
Juventus on the other hand only lost 4 points to SPAL and Crotone with 2 draws.
This is what we need to fix. That's a mentality issue and the lack of difference makers. I'm not seeing any difference makers being targeted yet.
The rest of the top 5:
Napoli- also just 4 points dropped, with draws against Chievo and Sassuolo.
Roma- also undefeated against the bottom teams but they've had 4 draws, dropping 8 points. They drew against Genoa, Chievo, Sassuolo and Bologna.
Lazio- only suffered one loss and had 4 draws, meaning that they dropped 11 points. Lost to Genoa and drew against SPAL, Cagliari, Bologna and Crotone.
If you want to win the championship, you can afford to lose points in at most 3 games against the bottom competition.
P.S: Sassuolo & Chievo delenta est.
