Why is everyone so high on Strootman? He was borderline world class before his injury 3 seasons ago and he's a good player, but what's the point of overspending to buy him from a direct rival? He's not THAT good.

Also, Chiesa and Lautaro with that free role behind Icardi sounds nice for a video game but they're both uncomfortable with that role in real life.

can we just get felipe anderson and stfu

the guy is proven in serie a and a huuge threat when he hits form. he is also hitting his prime. im positive this guy will shine in the cl if given the opportunity

i would take him, as well. only 25, many years of Serie A experience, offers lots of various attacking option as we have now. i think he also said that he would like to go if CL is not reached by Lazio and he played only as a sub. he has 2 years left on his contract. a 25 million offer would do the thing.

Hello guys, nice to retrieve all of you after this season!

Some news, already leaked in the press, but they confirm what has been said in the press.

- Dortmund asking information aboutDalbert
-After the last mercato, we relaunch Simone Verdi file, Italian refused to join Napoli. His club asks 25M, a meeting is scheduled with Bologna's direction in the following weeks. AS Roma on him too.

-Lautaro Martinez shall arrive at Milan this week to pass his medical visit.

- Valencia wants to keep Kondogbia, but hopes to have a price drop. Our board wants to grab the opportunity to make a similar demand for Cancelo.

-Rafinha and Cancelo informed their agents that they want to stay at Inter.

- Sime Vrsaljko to replace Cancelo if we dont reach agreement with Valencia.

-Wanda wants to reach an agreement to renew Icardi's contract before holidays. A new contract has been proposed to Icardi that would bind him to us until 2022, with a salary of 6M instead of his actual 4,5M and a new release clause( Undisclosed).

- Nagatomo wants to stay at Galatasaray.

Tottenham's direction met Perisic's agent. Player isn't on departure list ( For now..)

- Asking informations about Strootman.

Wtf is this BS with Valencia? They want to lower Kondogbia's already low price but refuse to do the same with Cancelo's over-price?

I think Valencia have been very clear and consistent with their message. No discounts, fuck off. They know they have the better deal.

Valencia: ‘No Cancelo discounts’
By Football Italia staff

Valencia director general Mateu Alemany warns Inter “we’ll only accept full payment of the buyout clause” for Joao Cancelo.

The full-back is on loan with the Nerazzurri, who can buy him outright for €35m before May 31.

However, with Financial Fair Play targets to be met by June 30, they were hoping to strike a deal whereby they could pay later, or include Geoffrey Kondogbia’s €25m move in the other direction as part of the cost.

“Until the 31st Inter have the option to decide what they want to do for Cancelo,” Alemany shrugged, speaking in a Press conference today.

“I know that they’re interested, but just as we haven’t asked for any rebates for Kondogbia, so we won’t allow any. We’ll only accept full payment of the buyout clause.

“They’ll make the decision. Logically we’re going to exercise the Kondogbia option, it still has to be formally done and it will be in the coming days.

“Inter knows that is out intention. In the coming days we’ll give the good news.”

Did valencia already pay for murillo and kdog? If not there is no need to panic. We will just re-use that money for Cancelo.

I think we won't use 35m€ to redeem Cancelo.

I've been undecided myself how it should be handled, but I think I agree with our management that it's simply an excessive price.

Cancelo will not be redeemed

Even for Rafinha it is difficult if Barcelona remain on its positions, Inter believes that regardless of 35 mln for a player not completely intact are too many.

For the rest, the fact of having to close to 0 this budget excludes the possibility that both are redeemed

yeah...there is nothing we can do... FFP is fucking us once more...we will have to look for other players...sadly

Rafi might say bye and Cancelo will say goodbye...

I remember reading shit about how FFP does not matter anymore in the coming mercato, we are free of it, CL gives us 40mil to operate we can free up resources yada yada ya. (luckily I believed in none of it)

When it really matters, when the time really comes, we only know how to downgrade our squad, sell players who actually matters because they are the ones in demand, and not bring back the players who contributed coz we can't afford anything.

Why Barcelona (and Valencia) requested deadlines for redemptions so that we can't possibly meet them? Since now we're back at CL and we still can't redeem them so what the fuck? Why agree those dates? By Inter's part or by Barca's/Valencia's part?

If we don't redeem Cancelo it will be because of Inter management stupidity and not because of FFP. We need to stop blaming FFP for our management incompetence. Last summer not only we agreed on a higher option for Cancelo than Kondogbia but we also let Murillo join Valencia on a two year loan with obligation because Valencia couldn't sign players due to FFP reasons. If Valencia had to redeem Murillo a year earlier we could probably afford Cancelo. So if you want to blame anyone blame Inter management.

FFP is based on financial years, not seasonal calendars. CL will alleviate our FFP issues to a large extent in the next financial year, but that does not help us till 30th of June. Unfortunately the options we agreed for Cancelo and Rafinha run out before that. In July, we should be able to sign bigger deals with a lot more leeway from FFP restrictions.

That said, the FFP impact of Rafinha and Cancelo in one year is about €7m each plus wages. This year we have already paid their wages, so we just need to make a €14m profit to conclude both these deals. Kondogbia deal should earn us a 7-8m profit, Nagatomo deal can give us a 3-4m profit too. So these sums should not be difficult with sales of some youth players. But from the media rumours it appears that Inter are about 40m in the hole in terms of FFP already i.e. by 30 June we need to find profit of 40m somehow. If that is true, I don't see the urgency by Inter to sell some of the surplus players or youngsters. So either the media figures are exaggerated (which is possible) or Inter plan to sell one of our valued assets (Icardi, Perisic, Brozovic or Skriniar) which would be really annoying.

But either way, this complicated the Rafinha and Cancelo transfers. I guess that is why Inter are negotiating for more flexibility in terms/price with Valencia and Barca.

Murillo is 2 year loan + 15M€ purchase obl (2019) and Kondo is 25M€ payable in 4 years. We cant reuse anything since the deal on our end sucks and Valencia will put 50M€ on Cancelo valuation when the 35M€ buyout clause ends.

How about another option: Inter don't activate Cancelo's clause, Cancelo goes back, Cabcelo puts in transfer requests and pushes for an Inter move. Price could fall then.

Getting rid of Candreva and signing Verdi would be awesome even if we need to add 10m-ish in the deal.

Younger, better, inferior wages.

I don't see which club would want to buy Candreva and his contract.
