If our Mercato ends up being Valero for 7 million, Skriniar for 20, Vecino for 24, and Dalbert for 30 while keeping all of our deadweight :lol:

Tbf we didnt resign Palacio which was a big step forward for us

We won't qualify for EL this season either, I promise you that. Regardless of who we buy. This team is dead, and I fear it will be decades before we're even close to a top 4 finishi.

Even if supported by valid arguments, this conclusion slightly sounds like a Bela Guttmann curse.

Not that we should be superstitious.

I'd just like to express my feelings towards this mercato and it is a big fucking giant fuck you to our mercato team so far! What a shitty mercato this has been up to now!

1. Valero: we've paid 5,5m + 1,5m for a 32-years old player with an astronomical wage increase to 3m yearly on a 3 year contract. While I don't argue with the Palacio-esque transfer, why the fuck we increased his wages to fucking 3m when he earned something close to half of that amount at Fiorentina (keep in mind: finished 8th last season so no EL, no CL, no title chance this year)

2. Skriniar: ok, this deal I actually find reasonable. 20-30m for a young (but not primavera) player at 22, good Serie A experience and probably likely to make it to the starting eleven is good. I can't remember news about his wages, but should be around 1,5m to 2m which is adequate.

3. Padelli: who cares.

4. All the kids we've purchased, such as Colidio, Zaniolo, Odgaard: overall good at any other club but what is the point with Inter??? We can never integrate anyone from primavera on the first squad and I'm tired of "building up" for the future for 7 fucking long years. We had Benassi, Duncan, Gnokouri, Miangue, Donkor, Yao, Puscas and whom got any chance on our squad? Or was at least sold for a reasonable profit?

5. Andreolli: contract termination. Dumb. He had low wages and was a decent bench player, club trained for EL/CL. Watch us buy someone and pay triple wages to fulfill the same role.

6. Caprari: not bad, at least we've made a profit for a player whom would never play for us.

7. Banega: fucking 9m for Banega?? Highway robery. Every fucker we scout is priced at ~25-30m, every fucker we try to sell is priced at ~10m.

8. Rano, Santon, Naga, Ansaldi, Jovetic, Medel, Brozovic, Biabiany, Manaj and Longo are still here. What the hell?? Can't we sell anyone?? Oh wait, we've just sold Banega for 9m and Andreolli (whom could be useful) for free. What are the odds we'll manage to sell even half of these players????

9. Dalbert: 30m for Dalbert? Who is Dalbert? We are talking as if he was a beast but really... 30m for Dalbert? From Nice?

10. Vecino: so now we have a billion midfielders. Valero, Brozo, Gagliardini, Medel, Joao Mario, Kondogbia. We need a DM. Whom do we want to buy? Vecino, whom is not such a significant improvement. Who is he gonna bench? Gagliardini, Valero or Joao Mario? And let's pay him 3m, so we can't sell him in a couple of years. That's what we do these days: 3m. Specially as he plays for Fiorentina.

11. I guess is it clear by now our team has serious mentality issues. Who are we negotiating as WF? Keita! Oh my, why don't we get Balotelli also?

SUMMARY: it is July 23rd already and we:
- did not buy any significant improvement (which would have a big impact on this season's squad);
- did not buy players for the positions we desperately need: FB and DM;
- overpaid wages for Valero and will probably do the same for Vecino;
- did not get rid of any of our shitty players.

I won't even bother to compare our transfers to other Serie A squads.

i agree with you about deadwood player and sell Banega.

but i don't agree with you about we did not buy significant improvement players.

we had good RB last season, D'ambrosio, he not good as Maicon but he is play good last season.
and in LB we already get Dalbert. I trust Sabatini in charge about defender, he always get someone trustworthy.
then DM. we get Vecino. trust Sabatini in midfielder, who know Nainggolan will beast after his season with Cagliari.
Saba was buy Strootman, Nainggolan, Pjanic, and many success midfielder in Roma. So i trust him in Vecino.

we overpaid wages Valero and Vecino cause they are from Fiorentina, not from Atalanta or Udinese.
Fiorentina players sure hard to change outfit if we don't give them big wages.
cause Fiorentina players feeling happy at fiorentina, so we must make them happier.

Rano = Will loaned out to small club just last season, i think low table club EPL. or maybe mid table club serie A, just wait.
Santon = Go to other Serie A or any mid table club but must get healthy, if not , no body want him.
Naga = No discussion. he will be Inter Legend.
Ansaldi = Dalbert backup. so he not go.
Jovetic = Get Many interest, but don't wanna pay his high wage. I think he will go to Sevilla or Marseille after cut his wage.
Medel = He will end to tigres or some club after we get Vecino .
Brozovic = Spaletti rated him highly after preseason. maybe as Joao Mario backup.
Biabiany = home grown quota?
Manaj and Longo = i sure we will loan them to small club.

Revealed: Inter’s transfer meeting
By Football Italia staff

It is claimed Inter boss Luciano Spalletti has reportedly demanded 4-5 new players, with one of them being Arturo Vidal.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports Spalletti met Suning Group representative Steven Zhang, technical coordinator Walter Sabatini, sporting director Piero Ausilio, administrator Giovanni Gardini in Nanjing during the early hours of Sunday evening.

The newspaper explains it was there when the Coach “reiterated the need for 4-5 signings and a squad of 18-20 players capable of starting”.

Moreover, the Nerazzurri stated “they would do their best to satisfy him”, despite being hamstrung by Financial Fair Play.

It was also there that Vidal’s name cropped up, and Gazzetta believes Inter are preparing a €45m bid, which could rise to €50m, and a four-year contract worth €7m a season for the midfielder.

As for defenders, Toulouse’s Issa Diop, Olympique Lyonnais duo Mouctar Diakhaby and Emanuel Mammana, Valencia’s Aymen Abdennour and Las Palmas’ Mauricio Lemos would be on the Beneamata’s radar.

However, Gazzetta concludes Jeison Murillo’s “obvious signs of progress” could prompt Spalletti to stick with the Colombian next season.

Literally would not be surprised if Spalletti walks early in the season if we don't get any real targets. what the fuck is going on at this club

So we'd effectively be swapping Perisic for vidal and getting a different LW for those numbers quoted. Not sure how i feel about that

Exactly. :lol:

It's funny how one news article causes people here to lose their balls. Gds has provided zero proof to back this up. The article literally starts with "it is claimed...".

Stop shitting your pants after reading every bs article the media puts out there.

We should be all over Lucas Moura if Alexis Sanchez goes to PSG.

This season doesn't look good from the beginning! No proper signings and the coach who just arrived is calling out the management! I won't be surprised if he quits a week before the season starts.

That's what I was thinking as well. I doubt we can get Martial (especially after yesterday), but I imagine having Blade---Mario---Moura would be fine as well. Would happily swap Kongdobia for him.

Also, I was thinking, do you think we could get Renato Sanches if Milan doesn't end up getting him? It's pretty clear he's considering leaving and I think he would be a nice reinforcement.

Any article regarding an Inter coach demanding Vidal must not be taken seriously.

If Spalletti quits in frustration, we should ask de Boer to come back just to :troll:
