i have noticed a contradiction in opinions ..
1st, it's been decided to get going for the new youth project under Leo's charge ..
2ndly, other ppl complained about him not playing the youngsters and grant them enough playing time ...
i'll sum it up in my point ..
Leo arrived in a bad mid-season situation ... he received a pretty much dead team from his predecessor (Rafa) ...
well in the 1st place, Moratti hired Leo for the sake of the future long project ... and so, it was even a winter for the club to bring in 4 players ... new blood in most fields to raise the team's performances ...
so for this summer mercato, u can read the strategy planned by going back to winter's transfers ..
1 young CB - 2 loans - 1 proven rising star ..
one of the 2 loans was a potential's test ... for Yuto ..
the 2nd loan was a pure addition to the MF department which clearly lacked players in numbers ...
so from that mercato, we have 2 rising stars, 1 promising defender, and a good sub midfielder...
but now, i think the policy will focus more on the "promising" part of mercato .. and strengthen the main team with at least 1 rising star player ...
apparently, the club has ditched the old disgusting policy of increasing the squad's depth with old costing stars and high salaries .....
now, the squad's depth isn't the primary objective ... it's to build a complete powerful team that includes youth, experience, fitness & technique .... all in a powerful balance ...
*************
back to the "not playing youngsters" topic... it's not right ... Leo did play them in many occasions.. but not in a risky way, and that's due to the fact of the club's horrible ranking in the league, and the fact of lack of experience and conviction of these youngsters ... they had only desire, and it was never enough in the club's situation back in winter ...............
but with a new chapter coming up, i'm pretty sure that Leo will fire up this process..
and i have seen a great vision of that when he gutsly fielded Coutinho in a decisive CL match and a dead situation of the game's time ... a move that i long wished to witness at Inter from the days of Rafa ... when the club lost Mourinho, and we lost that hope after Balotelli's sale and Santon's benching ...............
so, i'm pretty sure this process will take on concentrically in the next upcoming months ... and even as a main base of play ....

i don't know how true is this theory of " must sell first " ... but if it's true that Inter may sell some big names, i think Leo has some playing strategies' changes in his mind ...
for example.. if Sneijder would be sold for a convincing offer, Leo would ditch this "trequartista" strategy ... esp with the story of Coutinho going out on loan to earn playing time and experience ...
or more accurately in other words.. he may not replace Sneijder with exactly the same level of players' quality, due to the potential of Coutinho ...
and here, i keen on Samir Nasri to replace Sneijder, for best example ...
1 transfer that is deadly needed, is a world-class CMF ...
and so here, we may see a sale of Thiago Motta ... and keen on Stankovic & Kharja as back up sub players ......
there have been many names in that field, and all of them are pretty decent ... like Banega, Montolivo, De Rossi and other names ... and the so called "dream of" Fabregas ...
and Leo's worth is pretty much close to Mourinho's ... except that Mourinho is more experienced, while Leo is younger with a fresher mind ...
for example.. when Mourinho had Sneijder... he still needed a decent CMF, more decent than Motta, but not too expensive... and back then the names were thrown were Gerrard & Guti for examples as much as i remember...
but in Leo's books, if he's going to let go Sneijder, he should acquire a pretty decent CMF ....
for the attacking department, with the possible names of Sanchez, Rossi, Tevez & Aguero and so others, it will be a great strategical change to not depend on that "trequartista" strategy ...
Leo could apply a 433, or doubtfully a 442.. for examples ..
but even with his last 4312, he can boost the offensive duty of it by playing more offensive players in the 3 MF section .. and that requires more signings ...
because all of Cambiasso, Zanetti & Stankovic olds are past the ability to play an offensive\possession game ...

it's a quite complicated job to do for Leo as a whole .. but he's a professional, and i have confidence he and the great staff of the club will do it with some decent market ... after those decent winter transfers ...
