Yea but we need to solve GK spot, also people think that defence is not a problem. Why everyone think that Acerbi and Darmian will continue to play on this level next season? There are so many IFs right now.
True, but there are "ifs" every season. The point is that the direction is right, and we dodged a bullet with Lukaka. Considering that we don't have funds enough, we cannot refresh the squad at once. Definitely we will make some mistakes in the market, but if the right moves are majority, we'll have a strong and competitive team.

In a way, I'm glad that Balogun looks to be our first option. I'm not saying we'll get him in the end, but the fact that we're going for a younger striker from a foreign league that can be a risk/reward solution is refreshing. Or maybe the reports are wrong, and Morata is the #1 option lol.

Duvan Zapata rumours look to be just his agent offering him to teams, which it looks like we said no to.

Strategy is to get rid of soldiers that bled for club(Perisic, Brozo, DDA..) to bring gobbo hasbeens(Cuntdrado, Moratta). Great strategy.

Based on English media, Balogun is way too expensive for us. IMO we shouldn't pay 40m in pounds for this kid, like what that fuck 😂
Glad to hear that. He did not impress me at all.

Btw, was there ever an american footballer that succeeded at a big club?

40m for Balogun when we could probably get Hojlund for 50m plus a couple of kids. I know which deal I would prefer.

MU turning to Hojlund, sure Atalanta smells bidding if we’re in as well, so don’t think it’s possible

Lool this must be the most busy transfer season that i can remember for us in terms of need.

So basically we will need at some point during this summer the following:
  1. 3 goalkeepers
  2. RCB and LCP ( 1 starting material/experienced , 1 back up/potential)
  3. 2 midfielders ( 1 technical 1 physical)
  4. 2 strikers ( 1 starting material , 1 back up) . 3 if we let go Correa as well
  5. 2 wing backs ( both back ups if we lose Gosens)

It seems as of now we got 1 out of each of the above lines. I don't think it is as bad as it sounds because almost all our core except the GK is available in training camp which means that the movements shouldn't impact our results in the first matches but still is not a good position to be in . Especially when you don't have any money

Balogun isn’t American in the same way McKennie or Pulisic is. He is English and played for the English youth national teams and Arsenal. He just happens to have been born in New York City. He only declared to play the the US a few months ago after being heavily courted. The US will allow him to be a starter now, essentially the same reason he’s looking to leave Arsenal.

I mean, you'll be hard pressed to find an America who has ever played for a big club. McKennie and Pulisic are the only examples.

Dempsey, Howard, and Bradley all had respectable careers.
