Water is wet

'New scientific information suggests that water doesn't behave as a liquid until after there are more than six molecules. ... So, by the definition of wet, which is the condition of being covered or soaked in liquid, then water isn't wet, it just makes other things wet.' end quote

His assist to Mbappe was fantastic. More impressive than the hat trick.

Would've taken too much of the video time. He would have liked to say it according to my friend at Inter HQ but was not allowed since time is money.

all 17 goals for PSG. What is interesting? 16 of them were from first touch - no dribbling, just finishing like a killer. The only exception was goal against Briest (no 9) where he touched the ball changing the direction to trick the goalkeeper and he scored with his second touch.

I'm not saying that to criticize him, I just found it interesting that his style play became even more one directional in PSG, mainly thanks to his teammates who provide him great assists all the time. It seems that Icardi is perfect fit for a team like PSG.

Yes, with players like neymar and mbapppe besides him, there's always going to be space. Just curious how this is going to be utilized in the champions league against bigger teams.

Yeah, but apparently nobody cares. Apart from Brehme. :trollol:

Btw, did we extend his contract by a year before sending him out on loan? Coz there are rumours about Icardi rejecting PSG in the summer to force a move to Rubentus, and I wouldn't put it past that *unt.

Pedullà - Icardi al Psg: confirmed the free loan and the right of redemption to 70 million. Extension up to 2022 for about 7 million

if this is true...

ye ye we will sign no one in January...like last season...because we don't know how to sell ...no money available for new reinforcements...

So yes we did extend his contract.Wanda definitely needs to stay in Italy to stay relevant and on the show tiki-taka.

Extending his contract is good, it means he can't fuck with us. If he wants Juve and they want him this summer, they need to pay dearly. Or Icardi warms the bench for 2 years.

If we have extended his contract, it most likely means he will sign for PSG. Thats a result.

It was my understanding that Inter refused to let him leave in the summer for PSG if he did not sign the contract extension.

Exactly. Zsolt Lőw, PSG's Assistant Manager gave a longer interview yesterday to Hungary's main Sport Channel, he said "we have more than enough players who can dribble and pass a lot, so we don't mind him (Icardi) having less touches as far as he is this efficient and decides games".
Also, when Zsolt was asked whether Mauro will be seen in PSG after the loan, he said "club owners will have the final word, we as a coaching team can do a proposal, but we are absolutely delighted with his effort and performance, thereby as per now we would recommend keeping him".

Looks wiin-win to me as we're clearly benefiting from the different attributes Lukaku provides. Only down side is that we could have gotten more money for him if the whole freezing out fiasco didn't happen

It really doesn't matter. Even if he signs permanently for PSG, him and Wanda will begin clamoring for a move to Juve in less than a year.

Good luck leaving PSG if they don't want to sell you. Many have tried it but no one has succeeded so far. Once you're there, you're stuck.
