Inter’s Matias Vecino Recovery From Knee Injury Going Well – Available For Selection Soon

Inter midfielder Matias Vecino has stepped up in his recovery from injury according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.

The Uruguayan national team player has not featured for Inter whatsoever since football resumed in Italy due to a knee problem and he followed a personalised training schedule in training today which involved him running again on the pitch.

It will be very difficult for Vecino to be recovered in time for Inter’s match with Brescia on Wednesday night but he should be able to make a return to action soon.

The report goes on to add that it remains to be seen what will happen with Marcelo Brozovic who has also been struggling with injury as of late.

He followed a personalised training schedule in training today and could return to training with the rest of his teammates tomorrow ahead of the match against Brescia at San Siro.

This guy is becoming as injury prone as Sensi. He just returned from an injury. How did he manage to get injured again?

Apparently, he has an allergic reaction to playing shit. Accordingly, each time he puts in a below par performance, which is almost always, he gets injured. Seeing him come into the game in our last match pretty much summed things up.

Read something about an ongoing knee issue which had been treated conservatively, but I think they've just decided to operate now so he can be ready for the new season.

Hopefully not here, can see him running riot at somewhere like Everton.

He's going to the knee surgery. So much for selling him anywhere. What a fucking bummer this injury. Worst possible time.

Inter have confirmed that midfielder Matias Vecino is set to go under the knife tomorrow due to a knee injury which has been bothering him for some time via an official statement on the club website.

Inter have confirmed that the player will travel to Barcelona, Spain, tomorrow to be operated on by Professor Ramon Cugat. Although the club have not provided a timetable for a return, it can be presumed that Vecino’s season will be over.
I prefer to look at it as a win-win situation:
1. We don`t have to see him again in our shirt any more.
2. If we do, just use him in the final game (Europa League finals) to score :yao:
3. Jokes aside, we are getting him to be ready for the pre-season training, so he is fit when we finally sell him.

Damn, there goes our chances of making some money back by selling him. Not many people will be willing to pay as much with him coming off knee surgery.

Vecino out until October; knee surgery complicates Inter's plan of selling him

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the condition of Matias Vecino could be a risk for Inter in terms of finding a buyer on the transfer market. The player is going through rehabilitation process in Barcelona and will miss the pitch for two months.

It has now become more difficult for Inter to find him a new destination, unless on a huge discount and that is something Inter are not willing to do.

I have far less problems with him staying instead of Gagliardini. Well, maybe it's because I haven't seen Vecino playing since ages.

If he was not injured I bet subbing him in during EL final would grant us the win.

According to Calciomercato, the goal of Inter is to get at least €20M out of this sale.

Offers are coming in, not only to Inter but also to the player himself.

Vecino has in fact let ownership know that he will only accept offers from clubs that are going to play in European Cup competitions next season, preferably Champions League.
