We're probably selling him and that'll reduce his book value so more profit. It's the final year of the settlement agreement, so that's a plus. Also, it's just 2m net so at the end of the day, he's sort of worth it if he sticks around.

Well if we cant find better midfielder why not keep him unless chelsea coming with 30mil offer. Dembele wont come lower than 20m and he choose china, Carvalho is turtle with 25mil price tag. Next year we have more chances to find bettee midfielder with no restiction.

I like this thing about him. Bentancur lost many balls because he thinks he can play "Pirlo style", while Vecino knows his strengths and weaknesses.

Vecino can dribble or take shots more often, but why should he do it if it doesnt the best way to help the team? this guy is a team player, and i think most of us underrate players like him. He doesn't do anything special that can make a great youtube clip, but he's a player with great attitude.

There is a reason why managers like Sarri and Spalletti like him so much, and it's not a coincidence that only Suarez, Cavani, Godin, Casares and of course Muslera are the only Uruguay players that played more than him. He's a good player.

The fact that Uruguay have changed their formation to a 4-3-1-2 has actually helped Vecino a lot. I don’t think he really fits playing in a 2 like he does with us. It seems to put him in positions he needs to pass out of more often. His best moments for us have always been when he can go box to box and press other teams higher up the pitch. IMO his best role would be similar to how Mourinho used Muntari in the 4-3-1-2 during his first season here.

Unfortunately we don’t play that here so if some club is willing to pay enough money I’d be willing to part with Vecino

You actually right, Vecino best season is at empoli under sarri when he put him as RCM in 4-3-1-2.

If Vecino could be sold for anything more than 30m after this WC, by all means and in the name of all lords, do it.

He is not a key player nor can he develop into something extraordinary. With 30-35m, we may think abt getting one more world class player after Ninja.
