Agree, imo last time vecino had upper hand on him was during the spalleti era. After that, gaglia slowly but surely overtook him. And now you can clearly see vecino is not suitable to this free flowing football we are playing, fucker is too stiff and linear. Gaglia with all his faults at least has some sort of understanding of opening up and filling the spaces, although as v said before he is not built like a football player and that's his biggest problem.

Exactly. Gaglia runs towards opening space and makes himself available. (Even though he'll fuck up later). Vecino runs away from everything.

Playing with Vecino = 10+0 = 10. Playing with Gaglia = 11-1 = 10. The net result is the same. But their attitudes are different.
