Not only for economical reasons, but also because of the fact that Mancini is fucking obsessed with midfield full of hard working, muscular all-rounders. Kova doesn't fit into his plans. But he fits into plans of the future Inter, and that's why he SHOULD (but will not, sadly) stay.

Neither Hernanes nor Guarin have that something that Kova brings to the pitch. Shaqiri will probably be played on the wings and thus wont have any significant creative input most of the time.

I fear we'll be left with a gap in the middle if Kova leaves.

we have to pay like 3 for santon, 8 for murillo, 12 for miranda, 18 for shaqiri and around 40 for kondogbia. next year, 8 for dodo and 5 for brozovic. im not sure how much more we need to pay for medel. we still need to buy some more players.

the point is, selling kovacic would not be enough. so, soon we start to sell half of our squad or thohir spending his own money and fuck FFP. if he is spending his own money so there is no need to sell kovacic. whats the point of building a strong team with miranda and kondogbia and than selling one of shaqiri, kova or icardi.

We need a creative midfielder like Kovacic in our team and now with the signing of Kondogbia and co., it would only help our wizard to show his true potential when supported by quality players. May be Kovacic's price could even double in a year or two if he keeps on doing well (when the likes of Barca and co. come knocking to our door - i.e. if Inter will need financial boost).

I dont think you understand how FFP works

How is that? Basically we need to break even over the course of three years. As far as i know they look at the accounts at the end of the calender year and since the year you participate in the UEFA competition counts in their calculation we would need to break even by the end of 2016!
So theoretically we could still comply with FFP with a big sale next summer (Not ideal but worst case). On top of that none of us actually know how the Kondogbia and Imbula deals will be structured from a financial point of view so it s very hard to know the actual effect they ll have on our FFP status. Ofcourse except for the Salaries
